I really depends what you looking for. First of all this jacket is not wind resistant.So cycling on the chilly day with just a t-shirt under will feel cold, unless you put more layers underneath. On the other hand it breathes very well. So it is somewhere in the middle. It retains body heat quite well during treking. Its also nice bit off kit to put on the Gore tex layer when belaying or resting. It feels soft to the skin. Hood is good but has no adjustments. Fit is snug . I am 185 and 85kg - size L suits me well.

I've had two versions of this jacket over the last five or so years, they are not the most compressible but they are great value for money and I pretty much use them every day in winter autumn and spring in Scotland..... This is a great jacket for putting over the top of you whilst you eat your sandwiches on a summit or just wearing on a cold windy winter walk, it soon comes off if you have to go up hill any... Probably not warm enough for a winter climbing belay jacket though in my comfort range. Only gripe is the zip goes in the end after about two seasons hence why I'm on my third incarnation.... Loved the grey softy jacket..it is warm..very light

This is a cheap quality jacket. I never expected such product form decathlon. I have bought many products from decathlon so had no doubt but this is very cheap. Their 1000rs jacket provide much better insulation

Not worth to buy

The color is good and stands out in a crowd. It is lightweight and packs easily in luggage. Its does not keep out the cold or wind when riding scooter though it keeps 80 to 90 percent warm at standstill and after few hours outside or at night the chill starts to creep in.

I purchased this jacket and found out that it keeps me warm inside the room only and when I step out of my room in cold which is 10°C and a little wind was blowing it cannot resist that also and gets wet when water gets poured so I recommend not to buy and my product is little bit defective too and I am not able to return it or replace it. I hate this jacket I am a usual costumer of decathlon but this is my worst experience.
