Quality and thickness are fantastic
Good friction, affordable and light
Decent mar. Not too thick, fine for training on. Provides enough cushioning for sit-ups etc. The only downside is the mat moves around on a hard floor surface. Not tried it on carpet. It needs a grippier coating on the underside.
Sturdy exercise mat although slips easily, but very happy with the quality. Find it very practical and great for purpose.
perfect mat for use with or without footwear
Slips around a lot, had to roll the mat up the other way because the ends kept curling, but rolling it the other way caused the sponge to split.
Really frustrated that it slips and slides so much. The name of the mat includes the word grip. The description states how it’ll never slip and slide. My floor isn’t even slipper and has grooves in the flooring, yet this mat moves around so much! Shame because the mat is of great quality.
Bought this due to it being marketed as basketball sticky. The top of the mat is fine, however, do not try to use it on a hardwood floor it's rubbish as the bottom of the mat is slippy as anything. Not tried it on a carpet. The mat itself is nice and has good cushion but I've had to to put my old cheap yoga mat under it to stop it sliding about. Did a stretching aseeion on it this morning and it was ok on the hardwood floor but lung jump or burpee on it and it slides all over a hard floor.
Perfect for core exercises - good surface and grip, padding just right. Not so good for yoga.
As per price this is not that great a product. Price is higher.

Got a lot of holes with in 6 months of usage and foam came out in chunks

I use this mat to learn Yoga, its pretty comfortable. it doesn't skid or doesn't stick. Most Yoga mats stick a lot making you feel uncomfortable. I recommend this mat for all excercises.

What is the right size and thickness for your mat?
Because a comfortable mat only adds to your motivation, we suggest paying close attention when choosing the thickness of your mat. If you're doing a gentle activity in bare feet, opt for a mat that is at least 10 mm thick, with a soft, spongy texture. If you're doing dynamic strength training exercises, 7 mm is thick enough. The length is also important. For example, for Pilates or strength training, opt for a mat that is at least as long as you are tall.
