Too bad the choice…

It’s a shame that the choice of colors isn’t wider (gray or brick).

There are 10…

10 years ago I had the same style of jacket, it's great, it can last several seasons and then I replaced it because I no longer fit in it 😱 otherwise I would have always had it because it is robust. I recommend she is great

Can do better

Disappointed with this jacket, the fleece lining is very light and therefore not warm! Additionally, trying to wear this jacket while already having a light fleece is uncomfortable and you will be colder than anything else even with 6 degrees outside. . Disappointed with the product!

It looks very good and its materials are of excellent quality

information

I went to the store and they recommended this jacket for winter, the girl who helped us said it was good up to -10 degrees, now looking at the comments I see that it is not so good for winter. Could you help me by expanding this information further? Is it a jacket for low temperatures?

Optimal

I had to take a look at the same product from The North Face which is now 3 years old and I found it very appropriate. warm, fine and practical.

Additional Product Information

Composition

Main fabric: 100.0% Polyester ; Hood fabric: 100.0% Polyamide ; Lining: 100.0% Polyester ; Coating: 100.0% Polyurethane

Durable thanks to good abrasion resistance...

We test our fabrics in the laboratory on various criteria, including abrasion resistance to reproduce the friction of backpack straps. We conduct a standardised Martindale test, which rubs the jacket’s fabric against another fabric. The aim is to measure the point at which the product starts to become worn & the pilling begins. The jacket passes the test easily as it reaches 20,000 cycles on the Martindale, above the average for other jackets on the market

... as well as provide good tear resistance.

The jacket was also subjected to single rip tearing tests. The aim is to reproduce in a laboratory the effect of your jacket snagging on something outdoors and being ripped. Using this test protocol, we check that the fabric doesn't rip any further after a hole is made in the fabric, so that it can still protect you for years to come.

3-in-1 concept for adapting to every situation

With the ”3-in-1” system, the jacket will be ideal for cold conditions (down to -0°C) and for hot weather trips, because you can leave the inner layer at home and wear the rain jacket by itself. You can also wear the inner fleece on its own as a mid layer over a T-shirt. With just one jacket, you therefore get 3 options!

Component waterproofing of this jacket

The waterproofing of a fabric by a coating or a membrane is measured in Schmerbers or H20 mm (pressure of a water column). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric.

Waterproofness of this jacket

A jacket's waterproof properties are not derived solely from its components: the technique used to assemble the different pieces is also an evaluation criterion.Whether it's thermo-sealed or sewn and then taped, the overall waterproofness of your jacket is assessed in a shower test, developed by Decathlon, which simulates downpours of varying intensities. We know, therefore, that this TRAVEL 100 waterproof jacket will protect you from a downpour i.e. 12 cm of rain in 2 hours.

Product testing

This jacket was first tested in the laboratory, on a whole set of factors (warmth, waterproofing, durability). It was then tested by a small panel of users, at the heart of our global development centre, to assess the comfort, fit and practical features. Finally, it was validated in the field by volunteer-customers, as part of a test mission, just like a large number of Decathlon's products (check out our website)
