It's an amazing addition to my gear. The bag is spacious, has multiple compartments and does restrict movement. It has multiple straps to hold the bag upright around the waist. The black and gold colour combination is amazing. It's a 10/10 product.

Quite simply this product although well constructed for the price with good capacity, is rendered near useless by the the design having the belt straps fixed far too low. This unbalances the entire bag as the upper area tries to twist downward. Open the zip and your the very things you are trying to keep safe will fall out. Whilst the product is made to a price (very reasonable) the simple expedient of having the belt straps located higher or additional bracing straps to keep the top from tilting over, would have made this product infinitely better even for a small increase in price. As is, it is not fit for purpose.
A poor design....imbalanced and does not hold much weight. This product is very poor quality and to be avoided until re-designed so it does not twist and sway.
Alot bigger than expected, good quality though

Very disappointed with the colour. The picture shows a nice shade of blue. The one that arrived was nearly black
It is very practical to carry things but the material that is made is a bit thin and that makes it easily broken
I use this for mountain biking as I like my back to cool down more so this is ideal, get all my tools and spare tube in plus food and two spare bottles.
A great addition to my hiking kit. The 10L provies lots of storage room
A bag with enough room to make it useful, but not too big.
I have used this on my bike, I can get loads of stuff in it and it saves me taking pannier bags. Comfortable to wear, with good padding and excellent adjustment.
Using for mtn biking. Big enough to carry layers, food, hydration, tools, etc. Compresses well, very useful.

How is backpack volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method: we fill the main compartment as well as each pocket with little balls. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in liters.
Backpack technical tests.
We conduct laboratory tests to validate the components:fabrics,buckles,straps,foam padding, zippers, etc. For example, for a fabric:resistance to abrasion and tearing, colorfastness in UV light, resistance to washing, waterproofing... Then, a test is conducted on finished product replicating accelerated demands on the bag over a number of years to check strength of assemblies.The backpack is weighted then placed on a dummy that reproduces the movement of fast walking through thousands of cycles.

All our backpacks are tested in use by representative target users under the same conditions as they would experience in real-life use. In particular, our Test Missions bring together the product manager with people who are not affiliated with QUECHUA, to test, develop and validate the products.
