Love this hiking hat. It is lightweight and easy to carry around. I always keep it in my purse. One of my friends has also ordered one after I showed it to her.
washable and quick to dry
I think in terms of size, it's a little smaller than expected. Bought men's size but used it for my 10yrs old son. I also occasionally wear it. Does not seem to block the sun a lot in comparison to a cap or a sun hat, but it's good enough to give a little coverage. It holds unto your head pretty well - do not need to worry much about getting blown away by the wind.

Great for doing activities near water where is a chance of getting wet
I like the style of this hat for sure and it is very light. The only downfall is the selection of colors, which is only this one. It is ok for spring and fall but not bug season or sunny hot days. Bugs are attacked to dark colors and it is hot on the sunny high temp days. Would love to see this hat in some lighter colors. :) :)

The properties of polyamide
Polyamide offers excellent abrasion and tear resistance. Furthermore, this synthetic fiber is not susceptible to microorganisms or mold.
Isn't my hat uv proof?
Don't worry, the fabric used for this hat blocks UVs with a UPF over 50 (therefore excellent protection). Despite this, the standards also impose a certain coverage to be able to claim the product is UV proof. The brim of this sun hat is not sufficiently wide to meet the required standards. Nevertheless, your scalp will be well protected.
How do you measure a fabric's quick drying capacity?
The product is machine washed 3 times, then line dried, then we immerse it in water and measure how long it takes to get back to its pre-wash weight. This hat scored an impressive 5 out of 5 stars, returning to its pre-washed weight in less than 80 minutes!
