Product Customer Reviews

Easy to inflate. It held air all night and I was able to comfortably sleep. In the morning I was able to easily deflate and roll back up a place into the compression bag in came with. With the separate one way valves for inflating and deflating is the key to not losing air when inflating, and ease of deflation.
Ended up buying two of these for the tent I was so impressed, easy to inflate and does a good job of keeping you insulated from the cold ground.
I bought one of these hopeful of a good nights sleep, unfortunately it wouldn't stay inflated, when I got home I filled a bath with water to find out where it was leaking. To my surprise it was more like where it wasn't leaking, all the corners leaked in numerous places top and bottom where the seam meets the inflated area, 33 holes in total. When I tried to return it to the store I bought it from I was told by the Customer Asst. that it wasn't for water use and as I had exposed it to water I couldn't get a refund or replacement. When I asked to speak to the manager the Customer Asst. called the security staff over and had me removed from the shop. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had! My recommendation is to not buy from this company ever!

Unlike the regular thick air bed, this thin layer of mattress requires min effort of inflating/deflating which makes it so convenient to carry around. It's perfect for picnic, overnight camping or airport layover. Surprisingly the non slippery texture is also very comfortable to lie on. So far i have only tried it on flat surface, not sure if it is suitable to be used on rough and uneven terrain.
Light enough to carry. Easy to inflate. Keeps you warm. It’s not as soft as other inflatable beds. Can be uncomfortable if you are a side sleeper but it will do. The convenience of less things to take with you is a plus. Also looks durable
Bought ours October or Nov 2017 and still works fine. Bought this for an out of town trip since we need to save space in our luggage. It was worth it and we have been using it ever since. Downside to this product is that the "self inlating" part take a long time we needed to pump/blow in air a few times to get it inflated which didn't take much effort anyway, the cap/opening sometimes leak air you just have to secure it everytime. We lost our drawstring pouch/bag since a few months back but overall.. It served its purpose and I think its worth the price and worth purchasing
pohodová a skladná

The principle of a self-inflating mattress
A self-inflating mattress consists of an airtight envelope glued to an open cell foam in which the air circulates. When you unfold the mattress, it will return to its original shape and thickness (1" for the Trek 500 mattress) and fill with air accordingly. However, it requires some mouth inflation so you can adjust it to the pressure level suitable for you. Self-inflation is more or less noticeable depending on the thickness of the mattress.
Easy inflation/deflation
When using your mattress for the 1st time, unroll it, open the valve for 24 hours on a flat surface, then inflate it and leave it for 24 hours, valve closed, under pressure. Then you can store it away again. While backpacking, take out and unroll your mattress as soon as you set up camp, valve open to facilitate pre-inflation. A self-inflating mattress inflates to about 60 to 70% on its own. You will need to blow up the rest yourself so you can adjust the pressure to your desired comfort level.
Thermal protection and heat
Since the beginning of 2020, a new standard has been validated to assess the level of insulation of your mattress: standard ASTM F3340-18. This standard measures the capacity of the mattress to retain or return body heat in order to avoid its loss and therefore provide you with thermal comfort. Thermal insulation provided by the foam. R-Value standard ASTM F3340-18 mattress Trek 500 self-inflating: 2.7 (measured by an independent laboratory)
Thermal properties and warmth (continued)
The R-Value expresses the thermal performance and resistance of the mattress. The higher the R-Value, the more the mattress insulates you from the cold ground. - R-value from 0 to 1.9: mattress designed for use in warm season (summer) only - from 2 to 3: mattress designed for use in 2 or 3 seasons (spring/summer/autumn) - from 3 to 4: 4 season mattress, winter use possible - higher than 4.5: winter use and extreme conditions
Product test
The sleep comfort, also called "postural comfort," of our mattresses is defined by our R&D center. All our mattresses are subjected to mechanical tests to assess their performance and durability and ensure you enjoy a good night's sleep and an excellent recovery. We also carry out numerous field tests in real-life conditions. Postural comfort is an extremely personal thing. You can adjust the pressure of your mattress.
Sleeping comport, support
To prevent your sleeping bag from slipping on your mattress, the silicone patches must be placed in contact with the sleeping bag.
Eco-design
We have opted to change the color of this product (previous model was blue) to take a step closer to conserving our natural playground. This mattress is now gray as we use a "bi-ton" process that dyes 1 thread in 2 of the component, significantly reducing our water consumption and impact. Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths.

Product testing
All our mattresses undergo mechanical performance and resistance tests to guarantee you the best night's sleep and recovery (thermal and abrasion resistance, etc.). We also carry out several field tests in real-life conditions.
Storage instructions
In order to improve the durability and reliability of your product, store it laid out flat with the valve open in a dry place away from extreme temperatures.
