Very good product !
After probably around 10 months of using it on average once or twice a week, the materials have come apart (the two layers of fabric, as well as the seams around the elastic waistband). The top that I got is still going strong, suggesting that the material/manufacturing of this may not be as good.

You are an expert surfer
You surf intensively, it is your favorite sport. During your sessions, you paddle out to the line up, duck dive under the breaking waves if you are on a shortboard, or turtle roll if you are on a longboard. You show commitment in powerful waves of more than 40”. Your swimsuit must stay in place for each of your movements, whatever the strength of the wave. We have designed a range for you that is suited to your intensive practice and your body shape.
Body shape
With their fitted shape, VALI briefs are specially designed for women wishing to practice surfing, stand up paddle or body boarding without fear of ending up in trouble. Their shape was designed to offer a perfect hold during use, reinforced by a drawstring. Its low cut and side seams gives it a sporty look that suits all body types.
Stays in place in the waves: the test
We design swimsuits that promise to stay in place in the waves. To test them, we use a panel of female surfers with different body shapes who will follow a test protocol in a pool at our design offices in Hendaye. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by surfers when being thrown around by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing in the sea to test our swimwear in real conditions.
Dry sizing and wet sizing
To ensure a perfect fit in the water, it is important to choose the right size while you are dry because once they are in the water, swimsuits become looser. We therefore recommend you buy the correct size. The swimsuit needs to fit snugly against your body in the fitting room, you should feel supported. The spandex contained in certain components used in the design of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.
Do you want to exchange your swimsuit?
Is the size or style not suitable for you? Would you like to exchange it at your Decathlon store? No problem, just be sure not to cut off the label of the swimsuit in case you want to exchange it.

Product testing
This product has been tested in use in Hendaye and has been subjected to numerous laboratory tests to guarantee the quality of use for which it was designed: tests on the fabric's elasticity and strength, colorfastness when rubbed, washed, exposed to sea water, chlorinated water and light, and tests on the product's overall performance after repeated washing.
