Im 5ft 8in how do i chose between small and medium size?

Depending on your style of riding, you can choose between the 2 different sizes. I would recommend : - S if you want the bike to be lighter, a more aggressive position (Stack is lower, so your body position will be leaning more forward). - M if you want a more comfortable position, stack is higher and you can keep a similar reach (7mm difference with S) by moving forward the saddle slightly Overall, it also depends on your morphology, if you tend to be 5ft 8 with longer legs, I would recommend the M.

Good bike to start with but...

Very good value for money, I haven't found anything better among the competition for the same price/equipment. On the other hand, the frame is quite large. I took an S for 1m70 / 78cm ej and I don't feel comfortable. I will wait for stock in XS to change. For the rest, it runs well, the braking is great, the gears too (several mountain passes without problem)

Can’t beat this bike for the price.

used for a year and a half for road trips I am very satisfied with it, it just needs disc brakes for it to be perfect but you can't have everything for the price

Unbeatable value for money

After 2500km on this bike I am still very satisfied. It is light, responsive and comfortable.

Surprising bike, excellent value for money. Bought due to the theft of two more expensive bikes with Ultegra gears. It's very precise downhill and the 105.. 50 34 11 32 gearbox gives plenty of reserve uphill...

My first road bike. I am very satisfied with it, light, nice, 105 set, Fulcrum R6 wheels. It was my best choice for road cycling.

A rediscovery for me

With a road trip and first triathlon goal in mind, I invested in a new bike after my old Peugeot! Currently 1000km on the clock Advised by an enthusiast and after having seen several shops it was at Decathlon that I bought my new bike Top advice and equipment Nothing rash and advice not to inflate the price or sell more expensive but rather exactly what we are looking for! At first the handling is surprising, top speed with opposite wind is not the most obvious, it is the only fault. For the rest, no climb resists the bike, with extraordinary fluidity and a relatively comfortable grip on the road, the bike is a rocket that goes anywhere! I use it regularly and I find it extremely comfortable even on 80/100km outings. However, criticized by some, this model is very reliable and robust, I know because it was knocked down by a car (I have nothing left) and the bike and I were dragged 10m. Repair side at decathlon change handlebars, brakes and for less than 300€ and now runs like new Vehicle wanting to overtake on cycle path so some advice that I regret not having done: take out decathlon insurance! (And the helmets, the first prize saved my life, I recommend)

edr af 105 racing bike

Absolutely high-performance bike, its precision and reactivity are incredible, I'm sorry for you skeptics of decathlon products. This bike is UCI certified and you can feel it while pedaling and riding, especially in very fast curves. I have had to deal with other cyclists with bikes from other brands... the usual ones that are synonymous with real, very expensive bikes.. ...😯😯🤦‍♂️ result?? I was there with them, this bike is relaunched with absolute ease and with little effort you can maintain excellent speeds in all situations!!!!!!! If you are a good athlete you will achieve excellent results with this bike. EXCELLENT PURCHASE!!!!!!

Don't buy this bike if you value your life

Experienced cyclist, more than 1000 passes and 40,000km in the mountains. I bought this bike in January 2024 to prepare for the summer season on a "mule" In a descent at 80km/h, without mechanical failure and without fault on my part, the bike suddenly started to steering very hard, in an irrecoverable manner => Big fall with significant bodily damage. Re-tested several weeks later, the bike steered down the first descent at 45km/h. I didn't fall just because the road went straight up; Because if it had continued to go down I would have tasted tarmac again. I would like to point out that the phenomenon is reproducible as desired. The same descent in the same place at the same speed triggers the same phenomenon again. I requested an exchange on the assumption that I came across a defective bike. We're talking about safety, falls from a bike are never trivial and after falling at 80km/h I'm lucky to be alive or not in a wheelchair. For more than two months Decathlon has been walking me around explaining to me that a file is open with her insurance who will decide... if one day she wakes up. Because despite multiple reminders nothing happens, no mail, email or call to process this file => How to try to bury a major technical fault.... If you want to stay alive or not end up crippled, don't buy not this bike!
