Excellence
Bought this and feel that it is well worth the money. I actually for it it for a change as I’m 107kg and usually struggle with roadie gear. It’s snug on all over but in no way uncomfortable.
This gilet compacts so well in either your jersey pocket or small saddle bag, that it now always travels with me. Perfect for early morning starts.
This excellent showerproof gilet has been used a few times in changeable weather in the last week of so, very impressed
A great gilet as additional layer for the changeable conditions in spring and autumn, keeps you warm and fits nicely over a wind or thermal jersey. At only £35 it certainty rivals similar offerings from premium brands.
Used a few times, easy to store in saddle bag and perfect when it's a bits colder.
Really nice gilet for the varied weather patterns we seem to be experiencing in the north of England. High quality material with plenty of storage pockets. Ventilation is very good at the rear with the mesh but still helps to keep you warm. Only small down side would be the neck seems a little larger than expected compared to the rest of the sizing but not massively. I would highly recommend this.
Light gilet. Nice and snug. Tried instore as I'm between small and medium. If you are too, go for the medium so it's not too tight.
Really good gillet but the 2020 model was better. I am slim 1m93 and 78kg and Medium is OK for me as with a tight fit. (Large was baggy). Keeps you warm is it is fairly thick on the front but still folds up fairly small.
I can highly recommend this. Keeps the wind off and a good fit as expected. Having the three back outer pockets is a bonus as the flap on my other ones to access pockets underneath can be tricky.

Ich (1,90, 78 kg, aktiver Radsportler) habe bei den etablierten Marken meist Größe M. Dies empfahl mir auch der Onlinegrößencheck. Nach Anprobe im Laden: L bis XL, gekauft L - Sitzt angenehm eng, aber um die Brust rum etwas zu knapp und in der Länge auf dem Rücken etwas kurz Der Reisverschluss schließt sehr schlecht und bedarf Sorgfalt beim Schließen. Braucht daher viel zu lange zum Anziehen auf dem Rad. Es sind zudem beide Hände die ganze Zeit dazu notwendig. Das geht bei anderen Westen besser.
Super tolle Weste. Perfekt für die Übergangszeit. Sie sitz bei 1,83m und 78kg schön eng am Körper. Nur leider hat der Reißverschluss nach nur einer Saison den Geist aufgegeben. Das bin ich von Van Rysen Produkten nicht gewohnt.

Why windproof?
When cycling, your speed greatly increases the sensation of cold. An outdoor temperature of 10°C will feel like 7°C when cycling at 25 km/h. A windproof barrier helps prevent air entry, subsequently reducing heat loss.
Care tips
Machine wash at 30°C. Synthetic programme. Turn the garment inside out. Use minimal laundry detergent. Do not add softener. Line dry in a warm, ventilated area. Do not tumble dry.Do not dry clean. Do not bleach. Do not place on a heater to dry.
