Wedze Fit 900, Downhill Ski Boots

This boot is perfect for the advanced skier looking for the right mix of performance/comfort/precision. The 900 Evofit boot has a PU shell for a progressive and constant 90 flex in all temperatures. The liner's Overlap system (wraparound shape) gives extremely good support transmission and easy entry. The Evofit liner offers optimum comfort, improved by thermoforming the entire liner!

This boot comes with 4 micro-metric aluminum hooks. You can adjust the buckle length by screwing or unscrewing the hook. The top hook has 3 positions (tool-free adjustment) to fit all calf sizes. A wide, adjustable strap for extremely strong closure at the top of the upper.

To provide an indication of boot rigidity, brands assign a flex rating to every boot. This figure indicates overall rigidity: the higher the figure, the stiffer the shell. A flex below 60 is designed for beginner level skiers. A flex from 60 to 80 is for intermediate skiers. Beyond this value, the products are aimed at advanced skiers. However, skiers with heavier builds can go up a level.

Once your foot is in the boot, fasten the hooks to the midpoint. Can you go further? This means the volume of the boot isn't right for you. Once you've fastened your boots, you need to flex 3 times while pushing your calves forward (put your hands on your knees), which will push your heel back into the boot. Stand up: your foot should just touch the end of the shell. When you flex, your foot should move backward so you can no longer feel the end.

1- Choose a technical ski sock that's thin so it prevents pressure points and promotes blood circulation in the foot. 2- Choose a sole adapted to the shape of your foot to prevent it from being squashed and pressing against the shell. Ask a store assistant for advice. 3- If after 2 days of skiing you still feel some discomfort then thermoform your liner.

The EVOFIT liner is made of 100% thermoformable foam that can be heated to mold to the shape of your feet and the shell of the boot. This improves foot/liner/shell compatibility and reduces areas of discomfort.

1- Preheat the convection oven to 175°F. 2- Remove the liners from the shells. 3- Remove the insoles from your liners. 4- Put the liner part only in the oven for 10 minutes. 5- Remove the liners from the oven. 6- Put the insoles back inside the liners. 7- Put the liners in the boots. 8- Put on your boots and tighten each hook slightly. 9- Wait for 15 minutes at room temperature before taking them off. Now you’re ready to go skiing!

1- Air your boots by removing the liner that is inside the plastic shells. 2- Fasten the hooks at the 1st notch to prevent the boots from becoming deformed and, if possible, store them in a boot bag. 3- If possible, store them in a dry place where the temperature will not drop below 14°F. The boot's plastic will thank you for it!
