RAS
I use the jacket for skiing in warmer weather. Light, airy and warm if needed. I also have pants that are just as good. The material strongly repels water, the zippers provide breathability during high-speed skiing or walking uphill.
Very good value for money
Super jacket, convinced!
👍
Perfect for skiing.
Reinforcements on the shoulders would have been welcome for transporting skis as well as deeper lower pockets
good
Perfect but with a down jacket underneath
Overall satisfied with this jacket used in downhill skiing and not freeriding. But in all weathers, with a thin down jacket underneath as a second layer. Practical and well covering at the bottom as well as at the collar and around the helmeted head. A small downside though. The interior mesh pockets are not large enough to carry the mask or second screen horizontally around the hip.
not yet tested in the mountains. However the real value is 15000 and not 20000 as indicated. Damn a shame not to be transparent about it and we find ourselves faced with a fait accompli after the order. We are therefore on the same as the lower range, less expensive... FYI, 1m82, sporty, the L is good.
Not disappointed
Just WoW! Long, covers the upper body well, perfect ventilation, comfortable. Superb purchase!
I had been looking for a Shell ski jacket since the beginning of the season, with several criteria that I was not ready to give up (Long cut/Multiple pockets including non-negotiable ski pass pocket/Design and color) This one meets my needs perfectly, and for a price much more correct than most specialized brands! I use it at least twice a week on skis living in the resort, to see what it is worth over time, for the moment I am delighted! 177cm - 62 Kg: The M allows you to have a slightly loose fit and to easily equip yourself with a layer of warmth underneath!
Superb jacket for 3rd layer. Use with wind and the jacket is very effective. The durability remains to be seen.

Additional Product Information
Composition
Yoke (for shoulder): 100.0% Polyamide ; Main fabric: 100.0% Polyamide ; Lining: 100.0% Polyamide ; Secondary lining: 85.0% Polyamide, 15.0% Elastane ; Membrane: 100.0% Polyurethane
3d hood
We have added a hood with 3D tightening that is easy to adjust in one gesture to the jacket. The fit of the hood is designed to follow your head movements without getting in your way. It is compatible with helmets. The hood is preformed with a high collar for protecting the face in case of intense cold or strong wind. The flap of the zip closure is micro-perforated to facilitate breathing while protecting the face.
Cuffs
Wide adjustable cuffs to wear over gloves to protect you from snow and keep you warm and dry. Elastane cuffs with a thumb loop providing a perfect seal between the gloves and the jacket.
Ventilation
To stay dry, it is important to wear a waterproof jacket. But you shouldn't end up wet with perspiration. The vents play an important role in wicking away perspiration. This is why we have equipped this jacket with 3 ventilation zips: two large zips under the arms (35 cm in size L). And one quick ventilation zip on the front of the jacket, enabling you to open and close the vent very quickly.
Pockets
- 2 hand pockets with a waterproof zip.- 1 inside chest pocket with watertight zip.- 1 outer chest pocket with watertight zip.- 1 pocket on the left shoulder for your ski pass with watertight zip.- 2 quick access inside mesh pockets.
Cut
The wide fit and pre-shaped sleeves are there to free up your movements so you can ski in complete freedom. We have designed this jacket with 2 components: one to guarantee good fluidity and freedom of movement, and the other for resistance to abrasion.
What should you wear under your skiing jacket?
To keep warm and dry, use the 3-breathable-layers rule: 1 skiing base layer, 1 intermediate layer liner jacket to retain warmth and 1 third outer layer ski jacket to protect you from the elements. The base layer keeps you dry by wicking away the perspiration from the skin to the other layers.Provides warmth, as with down jackets or fleece sweaters.
The third layer
Protection from the outdoor elements (snow, rain and wind) by preventing them from entering (while still allowing perspiration to escape so that you do not feel ”wet inside”). It should therefore ideally be waterproof AND breathable. The third layer can also provide insulation in the case of lined trousers or jackets and thus complement the action of the second layer).
How can i prevent snow from getting in when i fall?
The snow skirt is a protection system at waist level that closes with press studs at the bottom of the ski or snowboard jacket. It prevents snow and draughts from entering when practicing wintersports, especially in the event of a fall. It can be fastened to the trousers using the 3 loops with a press stud.
Water repellency
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its ability to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from becoming waterlogged and remains light, breathable and warm. A fabric is made water-repellent by applying a treatment to its outer surface. This treatment needs to be renewed during the lifetime of the garment (we recommend every 3 washes). All Wedze jackets have received a water-repellent treatment.
Product testing
Our team of designers is based at the foot of the Mont-Blanc, near many ski resorts in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, we create and develop products that are simple and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field, because we believe that the only way to continuously improve our products is to test them under the real-life conditions that you will experience in use.
