From the top of the pants to the middle of the thigh, we added some padding that delivers 54% more insulation than standard padding.The idea is simple: when snowboarding, you spend a lot of time sitting in the snow. For this waiting phase, we decided to enhance the thermal insulation.It's also very comfortable on the chairlifts.

For superior comfort, we added some removable foam padding to the knees.Like the warmseat feature, the idea is to make you more comfortable when waiting on your knees in the snow during your snowboarding outings.This layer of comfort also insulates from the cold.

To better cope with bad weather (rain, snow, wind, etc.), these pants were rigorously developed and assembled using a component to prevent water from entering and to feel the wind less. The waterproof rating is measured by placing the product in a special shower that replicates the real-life conditions encountered by snowboarders in use. Finally, we wore them for several days' snowboarding under all conditions to validate their waterproofness.

As well as the waterproof material, we use sealed seams to make the pants more waterproof. These are waterproof adhesive strips taped to the inside seams of the garment to make it perfectly watertight. These taped seams are present on the areas most exposed to snow (buttocks, hips).

The water-repellent treatment of a fabric makes water to run off its surface without seeping in thanks to a treatment applied to its outer surface. The fabric does not become waterlogged, so it stays light and warm. This treatment must be renewed during the product’s lifespan, after 2 to 3 washes on average with the help of the products available in our stores.
