good gloves for above -3c

they were labelled for extreme cold and at -15 the only extreme cold was my hands

Poor Value for Money

Price not matched by quality. Inadequate insulation properties. Not recommended

Wonderful yellow cycle gloves

Hi viz warm gloves. Just right for London

Good value winter gloves

Good value. Very warm. When I have pushed myself on a ride they do get a little sweaty. But I imagine these are ideal for very cold temperatures below 5 degrees C.

Not winter gloves

After riding for 30 minutes at 2degrees my fingers were like ice blocks. The gloves were thick and mildly uncomfortable, but not warm enough to be consistent winter, mid season at best. Definitely one for returning as not fit for purpose.

Very nice gloves

Warm and comfortable. Not bulky, fit slightly larger than expected but not too big

Thermal cycling gloves

I found the fingers are a little long otherwise good fit. Kept my fingers cosy warm on a very cool spring morning.

Warm but wet hands.

Warm gloves but not water resistant.

Nice, but

Well made, comfortable, but really not that good at keeping your fingers warm

Fingers still freezing!

Bought Oct 19. Whilst these gloves are a good snug fit and maintain manouverability for braking, changing gear etc. they are terrible at keeping my fingers warm - the main reason for purchasing them - in fact I think they do a worse job than my older cheaper pair bought elsewhere. If you suffer from cold fingers when cycling, avoid - these will not solve your problem - they keep the hand warm, but definitely not the fingers - and UK temperatures haven't even reached 0 degrees yet, which they claim to be designed for. I'm considering returning for a refund, as not really fit for purpose or as described.

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on the new 900 gloves, your feedback is very valuable and is passed on directly to the Product Manager. Please double check if there is any minor fault with this particular pair which is causing air to enter and exchange for another pair at your local store if it's the case. You also have 365 days to return the item for a full refund with your receipt or Decathlon account.

Average

gloves are warm but if you are expecting that you will ride in rainy days is not what you are thinking, these gloves get wet after 8 mins of continuous rain also the technogel placement is missing near fingers so not comfort so your will get hand sores after long ride. Despite these are little warm and feels great in hands that's it... Price is very high according to Performance. Costly gloves that feel great when weared !!

Water-repellent component

Waterproofing is a fabric's ability to prevent water from passing through. A fabric's water-repellency is its ability to make water bead and/or run along its surface. The garment soaks up little or no moisture, dries more quickly, and doesn't become heavier. Water-repellency can also make it more difficult for its outer surface to become dirty. Water-repellency is obtained by applying a treatment to the fabric's external surface. This glove is not waterproof!

Product warmth

A product's ability to offer protection from the cold. It depends on the material's thermal resistance and how much air can pass through it. The higher its thermal resistance, the more the product retains the heat produced by the body while cycling.

Product tests

Our team of product designers based at the B'Twin Village in Lille is continuously working to make cycling more comfortable for our users. Our obsession is to create products that meet the specific cycling needs of our users and eliminate hindrances to a good cycling experience. We then test our products in the field, as we are convinced that only by subjecting them to real-world conditions, like the ones you experience on your bike, can we continuously improve our products.

Care tips

Machine wash at 86°F. Delicate cycle. Do not use fabric softener. Hang to dry in a warm, ventilated place. Avoid tumble drying as much as possible, as this damages the component. Do not dry-clean. Do not bleach. Do not place on a heater to dry.
