Product Customer Reviews

These keep your feet toastie on cold days
Really comfortable!
Very comfortable but don't keep as much of the cold out as I'd expected hence only 4 not 5 stars but perhaps my expectations were to high
Great value, very comfortable and great price.
Very good fit good quality, does what it says on the tin. Keeps feet toastie warm.
Excellent product
Perfect
Bought as a gift No mention of cold feet on a ride, granted not thermal but thick and comfy to wear as I have a set also for winter riding..
Worn a couple of times on a both a day and night time ride when temperatures have only just managed to creep to the + side of the temperature gauge.. Toasty enough with a snug fit, will be back for a second pair.
These are warm and durable. They don't look very sporty and the material could be a bit more elastic.
Very comfy socks keep feet & toes lovely and warm. There good all round socks for both sports & general wearing.
Good quality
Quality is good for the price. However, not happy with their thermal properties - 3 hours ride with approximately 11 degrees and my toes were really cold.
First ride in these socks completed today. Average temperature was around 6 degrees. I couldn't feel my toes after an hour. They're as good as my normal cycling socks so definitely not suitable for winter
I'm sorry to hear your feet were cold after an hour of cycling. As a regular cyclist myself I can appreciate how uncomfortable cold feet can be.
With a blend of merino wool and thermalite, these socks will provide more insulation than a standard summer cycling sock. If you add wind chill and the fact many road cycling shoes have ventilation holes, cold air will still be a factor. For this reason a neoprene overshoe is recommended to provide an excellent barrier against the cold.
If not some cyclists tape up the holes inside their shoes as an added measure.
If you are unsatisfied with your socks please feel free to return them to store with your receipt for a refund or exchange.
Luke
Nice fit and good quality but toes still got cold in minus temps even with overshoes. Be good as an early spring/late summer sock.

The benefits of socks
Whether you use your bike for daily journeys or racing in competitions, it takes a toll on your feet. Pedaling can result in rubbing, which, coupled with perspiration, can feel very unpleasant. The cold can also make cycling uncomfortable if you are not properly protected. These B'Twin 500 socks offer the warmth that's essential during regular cycling in cold weather thanks to their blend of Merino and Thermolite fibers.
