OK for Winter weather over 5°C

Have used these a couple of times now. They are fine for temperatues over 5°C but anything under & my feet got very cold. This is with neoprene overshoes on as well. Otherwise they are thin enough not to be obstructive in shoes but not too thin that it affects comfort.

This is a Christmas present. Today is 24th Dec. Gave same socks last year which were liked and used regularly during this year. Merry Christmas to all my readers.

Great socks

Was meant to get some wool socks for cycling last winter but never actually got round to it. Finally remembered this winter and been really impressed with these, so much so I'm going to purchase another pair or two ;-) Great sizing and loved the colour

Warm Enough

Handy pair of socks, thin enough to wear with summer shoes and keep your feet warm enough. If only riding for a few hours no need for overshoes.

Would have to be a mild winter

Described as winter socks but although a good fit and comfortable, they do not keep the cold out. A recent ride , with temperatures at around 4 degrees left my toes numb! Perfect for late summer early autumn maybe…but not winter

The benefits of socks

Whether you use your bike for daily journeys or racing in competitions, it takes a toll on your feet. Pedaling can result in rubbing, which, coupled with perspiration, can feel very unpleasant. The cold can also make cycling uncomfortable if you are not properly protected. These B'Twin 500 socks offer the warmth that's essential during regular cycling in cold weather thanks to their blend of Merino and Thermolite fibers.
