S3 means a dark screen that protects you from the intense light of the sun. We have selected a brown tint that preserves good visibility in shaded areas or at the end of the day when the sun is less bright.

The "OPTIMAL" anti-fogging system is a ventilated double lens with a treatment on the inside and a ventilation system on the frame that enables air to circulate inside the ski goggles. To provide good ventilation of the inside of the goggles these vents must not be blocked with a scarf, for example. Be careful not to rub the inside of the screen but carefully dab the surface to maintain the effectiveness of the anti-fog for as long as possible.

Goggle design with double lens to limit the appearance of fogging. Indeed, the air that is trapped between the 2 lenses creates a layer of thermal insulation. This reduces the thermal shock between the inside of the goggles and the outside, thereby delaying any condensation from forming on the inner lens of the goggles. The inner lens also has an anti-fog treatment and is also ventilated by air vents that provide a good flow of air.

The spherical shape gives the least amount of optical distortion. The external screen is made from injected polycarbonate that is very resistant to impact while the interior screen is made from Acetate

The Ski G 520 S3 goggles in size L allow for the use of prescription glasses with max width of 145 mm. The foam on the sides and the shape of the goggle skirt leaves a passage for each temple.

Remember to protect the goggles and especially the screen from scratches, before and after use, using the microfiber case. This case also cleans the lenses, and the material is perfect for looking after them without causing scratches.

A colored coating on the outside of the screen of the ski mask (called colored flash) reduces the % of light transmission that gets to the eye, it means less glare and greater visual clarity in bright conditions

The EN 174 standard is a European standard applicable to goggles used for eye protection when downhill skiing or similar activities such as snowboarding.

Moisture encourages fogging. You must therefore make sure that the foam does not get soaked in water, e.g. by placing the goggles on a wet helmet or a hat. Falling face down in the snow can also cause your goggles to fog up. Whatever the circumstances, you must dry your ski goggles thoroughly overnight to remove any moisture and hit the slopes on the following day with perfectly dry goggles.

The size of the mask is chosen according to the size of the head circumference. Up to size 22", choose size S (or formerly S/M); from 22" choose size L (or formerly L/XL)
