A word from the product manager

An easy and accessible snowboard that really helps you progress. To offer a snowboard that is great value for money, we have changed how we deliver our snowboards. That's why this snowboard comes without bindings. And to avoid compromising on either riding pleasure or board longevity, we've kept its wooden core.

Program/terrain

The Serenity 100 is perfect on-piste in all snow conditions. Supple flex and torsion, standard but not very pronounced camber, gentle directional shape: It is designed to make it easier to learn how to snowboard. Features provide buoyancy in powdery snow and allow it to be a bit playful for beginner freestylers. Its wooden core lets you push it on hard snow within reason.

Directional snowboard

The shape of the board is directional, i.e. the board has a nose and tail. It is not symmetrical the tail of the board is slightly narrower than the nose, the bindings as well as the contact points of the board on the snow are slightly set back. A directional shape offers better grip when cornering, better trajectory management and better recovery when exiting a turn.

Standard camber

A standard camber is curved upward between the 2 points of contact between board and snow. Thanks to the elasticity of the board, a standard camber acts like a spring to give you grip on all types of snow, pop when switching edges and acceleration on exiting turns.

Supple, forgiving flex

The flex is the stiffness of the board between the front and rear. The flex of the Serenity 100 Evo about 2/5, which is supple and forgiving. This type of flex is very homogeneous from the front tip (nose) to the rear tip (tail), offering very predictable cornering with no surprises. The drawback is that at high speed or on very icy snow, the board won't hold a nice, well-cut turn. It will slide and automatically slow you down.

Supple, forgiving torsion

The torsion, i.e. the torsional stiffness of the board between the feet, is about 2/5. This makes the board easier to handle and pivot and forgiving of edging mistakes. Supple torsion offers some freedom of movement between the feet. (the front foot can be angled heel/toe, and the rear toe/heel). Edging mistakes are forgiven, which is important for beginners. The supple torsion is also suited to freestyle/jib use.

10 mm setback

The setback is when the board's compression points with the snow are not symmetrical in relation to the center of the board, but set back toward the rear. The bindings are also set back toward the rear by the same distance. 10 mm setback: classic setback of directional boards. It provides better grip in turns and buoyancy in powder snow because the weight is on the tail of the board, which naturally raises the nose.

Technical information

front width 277 mm. Center 241 mm. Rear 277 mm (size 57.5" / 146 cm). Radius 26' (8.0 m). Effective edge 1,050 mm. No. of inserts: 8 + 8 (3 possible positions per binding/40 mm between each). Recommended stance: 500 mm.

Recommended bindings

With the purple Serenity 100 binding, the board + binding set will be equal in terms of consistency of level and of design.

When do i wax my snowboard?

Wed'ze boards are supplied already waxed. They require regular maintenance just like all snowboards and skis: ideally requires waxing every 5 outings and at least once a year: -either at the beginning of the season to start with a very good glide -or at the end of the season to nourish the base in depth and allow the wax to penetrate into the base throughout the summer"

What's the right size serenity 100 for me?

Generally, for all-terrain use approximately -6" to -8" (for example, a girl of 5'5" (65") can select a board in the range of 57.5" and 59.4"). Choosing smaller makes things easier. This is also advised for people who are light for their height. Choosing bigger offers greater stability at high speed. 55.9" (142 cm) (65 to 130 lbs) => from 5'2" to 5'5" 57.5" (146 cm) (90 - 155 lbs) => from 5'3" to 5'7"

Storage instructions

Wipe the edges at the end of the day so they don't rust. Ideally, wax every 5 outings. Storing for the summer: keep away from sunlight, you can leave your bindings on the board.
