When travel backpacking, what could be worse than losing your passport or getting your phone stolen? In order to prevent this so that you can enjoy your experience with total peace of mind, we have added a large discreet and compartmented chest pocket. You can store your phone, passport and wallet safely in one place, and even attach your keys to the built-in snap hook so you don’t lose them!

We have added reflective tabs on the cuffs. WARNING, these parts are not standardized, they are not PPE (PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT) and do not guarantee safety or protection. You have the option to turn up the cuff tightening tab when required to reveal these reflective trims.

We carry out laboratory tests on our fabrics, according to different criteria such as abrasion (or in other words resistance to rubbing). To reproduce the rubbing from backpack straps (on the part of the jacket put to the greatest test when backpacking), we carry out a protocol test called “Martindale”, where the jacket material rubs against another material. The aim is to note the wear limits of the product and when pilling begins.

The jacket has also been subjected to single rip tearing tests. The aim is to reproduce in a laboratory the effect of your jacket snagging on something outdoors and being ripped. Through this test protocol, we check that once it is ripped, the fabric does not continue to tear and still protects you over time.

The lining of this jacket is DOPE DYED: this means that the dyeing process is done in bulk before the thread is spun. This reduces the environmental impact and water consumption in particular, compared to a standard dyeing process. This jacket was designed to be worn over a double layer (fleece, sweater). Select your usual size for the best fit. The jacket has a mid-length cut ending at the middle of the buttocks. You can tighten the waist thanks to the snap fasteners. Adjust the hood using the drawstring around the face. The depth of the hood is adjusted by a Velcro tab on the back of the head.

We have tested this jacket in England, during a week-long backpacking hike. A group of independent testers walked in the shoes of our real backpacker users to test, improve and approve the TRAVEL 100 3 in 1 jacket. It has therefore been designed and validated in the field in real backpacking conditions: walking, youth hostels, public transport, picnics. It has experienced everything and survived!
