Good fit, super comfortable.
I have used these shorts for 2 years and about 15,000 miles. They were excellent for my commuting as well as long rides. After everyday use and a weekly wash the fabric has started degrading recently I wanted to buy a new pair but found out they have been discontinued since. Such a shame.
These are the best shorts on the decathlon website. The triban ones have padding that is too thin. The van rysel bib shorts have straps that are too long. The van rysel racer shorts do not have silicone grippers whereas these do (so why are they £5 more expensive?) such a shame that these are being discontinued because what alternative shorts are there? I should have bought more pairs!
I thought these shorts were a sure fire win as the padding felt so thick with the gel layer, plus they're super cute with the matching jersey. I rode 30km today in the shorts and the pain was almost unbearable after 10! I'm not sure what the problem is, I can only guess that it's the shape of the padding areas as I have not had this problem doing similar distances in markedly cheaper shorts. Will be returning them, just disappointed that I now have a jersey that won't match anything either as I bought the set

As a regular cyclist I've done numerous 4,5 and 6 hour rides in these. I'm a distance off-roader and these are really sweet fitting shorts. Very comfy, very light breathable material, no sweat build up, no rubbing. My only gripe is I should have bought more than one pair as now they don't seem to be stocking them anymore- sadly.

To put your mind at ease, I wish to confirm that this is a permanent model and stock may be low at the moment as we are nearing the end of the season (after a long period or warm sunny weather) so stock may well be tight. Fear not, stock will be coming back and this model is carried forward on to the SS 2017 collection.

These are true to size and a good fit, but that's about the only positive thing I can say. I have worn them (and washed them) twice, otherwise I would return them. The padding has a "comfort strip" along the middle from front to back. This causes it to fold along the line, pressing into the skin (and other areas) in an uncomfortable way. The padding at the back is thick enough, and I was only slightly sore after 30 odd miles, despite not being a regular cyclist. In addition to the issue with the padding, on both occasions when wearing this product I have come out in a rash. The first time I thought it could be sweat related, but the second time it was only a short cycle and not very warm. Other products have not had this effect.
I'm sorry to read that the pad was not comfortable for you. I will pass your comments on to the product manager at b'twin who is in charge padding.
Please don't hesitate to return them to us for a refund or an exchange. The fact that you've worn them will make no difference to us.

If you’re having sore bottoms after cycling, get your buttocks this protection and you can go further with no pain! But remember not to buy too big, a size smaller would be good fit as it must be body hugging. Bought for my wife and she simply love it!
