Product Customer Reviews

Took a chance on this parka after purchasing the 23 degree puffer which I really liked. So far, I'm quite satisfied. Living in Montana, I've been able to test the lower temperature range over the last several weeks. I've been warm at -10 degrees with light wind when wearing it over a base layer and a wool sweater. At 20 degrees, I undid the pit zips. Haven't a clue about how water resistant the main fabric of the body may be as it has not been above freezing when precipitating. Plusses include the double zip on the front zipper! There is a small baffle at the neck which helps keep cold air out. The inner chest pocket is on the body side of the down layer, so my cell phone stays warm. Only two minor peeves. I wish the cuffs had an extra 1/2" of give as they hang up on my fitness watch. Not a deal breaker, just annoying. Likewise, the bottom drawstrings do not go all the way around.
I love everything about this coat. I bought it for a trip to Norway but have worn it almost every day. It’s warm and cosy and really light. When I get too warm it’s easy to unzip under the arms. It’s was great value, I have paid much more for coats that aren’t as good.
It keeps you really warm.
Good fit. I like the waterproof panels. Keep’s me warm on those cold days
Brilliant jacket - had it for 2 years - comfortable, practical and very warm. This has kept me warm on cold holidays, very cold UK weather and in the house when heating broke down. Really amazing coat, well worth it.
Good Quality at an excellent price, bought for my wife, she is very pleased. Light weight but very warm.
Bought this to replace my old faithful version of the same jacket, which my cat attacked and de-feathered. I loved it so much, that I bought exactly the same one again.
Really love this down jacket. Especially the slightly longer length on these cold wintry days
Surpassed expectations. I'd been on the hunt for a 600 fill+ down jacket for belaying during outdoor climbs and keeping warm on the mountains... something that would suit year-round UK weather conditions. For reference, I ordered this jacket, alongside Marmot Mt Tyndall, Patagonia Fitz Roy and Montane Cloudmaker (all of which were 650 - 800 down fill, and cost between £200 - £350 at the time). In comparison, the Marmot Mt Tyndall deserved the price tag. As for the other two, the fit, warmth and quality did not match this jacket. It's very lightweight, keeps the backside warm, however, it's not very durable. But treat it well and this jacket will repay you. I've been in -3 degrees celsius wearing this and survived just fine. For the price-tag, no complaints.
Well made, warm , great price and value
