Product Customer Reviews

Lightweight. Comfortable. Extremely warm. Shower proof. Good length. Zipper works smoothly without jamming.
Sleek but warm
Extremely comfortable and worm
My daughter love this jacket. Very light in weight and fashionable
Warm and Comfy, just missing a hood and bigger pockets to fit phones
Size comes up very small. A small criticism on many Decathlon goods is that the ladies sizes aren't as generous as gents equivalent.
She loves it.
I bought this as I work outside a d needed something very warm over winter. I’d already bought a couple of others for other retailers but none were half the jacket this is! I’ll definitely buy another and highly recommend. A bit bulky but snug and warm!
It’s a bit small on the sizing and fits very neat even though I went for a size bigger. Great jacket though and keeps you really warm.
Daughter found it adequately warm and comfortable for Delhi winter (upto 3℃). Attractive style and perfect size.
Really great little jacket, perfect for someone who feels the cold a lot (like me), fits well, and is lovely and light. It comes with a little bag to pack it down into, the only thing is I end up putting this in the pocket which I then keep zipped up for fear of losing it. A place to store it within the coat would be amazing. And the addition of an internal pocket would make it faultless, but aside from that I love it.
Purchased for my teenage daughters trip to New York. She loved the warmth the ability to pack it small and the styling.
This is a great jacket that rolls up into its own pouch. So light to carry but keeps you extremely warm in cold weather. The high neck and slightly longer back are great too. My only downside is that the pockets are at a funny angle inside but apart from that I definitely would recommend this jacket.
Great jacket for price. I did purchase in sale so was a bargain. Looks good too.

What does the rds* certification mean?
Ethical down certified by RDS (Responsible Down Standard). Our traceability system allows us to guarantee the origin of the feathers in accordance with our commitment to use responsible materials. Our suppliers are committed to sourcing down humanely, using plumage from waterfowl that have undergone no undue harm. http://sustainability.decathlon.com/media-reports/documents/
Fill power of the down/feather fill
This 85% down / 15% feather down jacket has a guaranteed fill power equal or above 660 CUIN (European standard). The fill power is a measure of the down's thermal insulation capacity and its potential to "trap" air. So, down with a higher fill power (high CUIN number) will occupy more space, trap more air, and provide greater thermal insulation.
What are the benefits of a duck down and feather fill?
The durability and fill power properties of down give this jacket 3 qualities for hiking: - Thermal insulation provided by the air trapped in the down and feathers - Ultra low weight: Down is lighter than synthetic fill while offering the same degree of warmth. This saves even more weight in your backpack - Ultra-compressible
In case of rain
The material of the quilted jacket is water-repellent. This means that drops of water roll off the fabric preventing them from soaking into the down jacket as quickly, giving you time to find some shelter. But the down jacket is not waterproof. That's why we recommend wearing a waterproof jacket over the down jacket in the event of prolonged exposure to rain.
How to wash your feather down jacket
Here are a few tips: Close all the zippers on your down jacket and put it in the washing machine (synthetic cycle at 86°F). In order to preserve the fill power and warmth, you can even put 2 tennis balls in the machine NB: Set a gentle spin cycle because a fast spin cycle may create balls of feathers that are difficult to break up. Follow our advice by clicking the link below: https://www.forclaz.co.uk/advice-alias/how-should-i-look-after-my-down-jacket-tp_2579
How to dry your down jacket
When you take your down jacket out of the washing machine, it will seem as if the down has gone. THE TUMBLE DRYER is the best way to restore the fill power of feathers. Put your down jacket in the tumble dryer with 2 tennis balls. Run 2-3 drying cycles. If you do not have a tumble dryer, you can completely dry your down jacket on a drying rack by turning it over and tapping regularly. https://www.forclaz.fr/conseils/comment-entretenir-sa-doudoune-en-plumes-tp_101
How to restore the water-repellent properties
Over time, after washing and the wear and tear during use, the water-repellent treatment becomes less effective. This is how to re-activate the water-repellent feature of your down jacket! https://www.quechua.co.uk/advice/how-do-you-restore-water-repellent-properties-your-jacket-a_86426 And use the care product: Wash-in product for reactivating the water-repellent properties https://www.decathlon.co.uk/eco-wash-in-proof-250-ml-id_8408883.html
A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire lifecycle using different indicators. A general score from A to E is provided to help you easily identify the most eco-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, pants, backpacks, etc). Decathlon is committed to displaying this environmental information. For more info: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/

Product testing
All our down jackets are laboratory tested with 3 mph wind, worn as a 3rd layer on a thermal mannequin (over a long-sleeved T-shirt and fleece). Their level of thermal insulation is measured on a scale of 1 to 5, so that you can make the choice that best suits your use.
Storage instructions
Store in a clean and dry place. Do not store folded in its pouch
Care instructions
Caring for down jackets requires special attention. We recommend using specialist dry cleaning services to maintain your down jacket. Machine wash at 86°F; add 2 tennis balls to restore the loft of the down. Rinse twice. Tumble dry (strongly recommended): synthetic cycle with 3 tennis balls to restore the loft of the down; for several cycles until the down has dried completely, to prevent the feathers from clumping and reducing insulating power. See the care instructions in the online guide
