Product Customer Reviews

Absolute garbage shoes, I sized up as advised and ended up with some very long shoes, thin soles, worked in the rain, not even waterproof, at all...not for 2 hours in light rain, not even walking through wet grass, very disappointed, literally threw away $55
Hello!
We're sorry about your experience. While we are confident in our products, it is possible that this particular pair had a defect. Our designs are lab tested to ensure their quality. This particular design is meant keep their waterproofness during a 2 hour hike while some of our other shoes are designed for more demanding conditions. I recommend you contact our customer service team so we can get this issue resolved as quickly as possible.
Carlos
I really wanted to like these as they are cute looking and have ankle support. Unfortunately they aren't as wide in the toe box as I would like in a walking/hiking shoe and there is no arch support. The toe box problem is my biggest issue as I bought these a little large to accommodate a better insole, which I wear with all of my Merrells and my Hanwag hiking shoes, but they curl up slightly on the sides of the toe box in these so it is not just my imagination that these shoes are narrower. This is without even considering the addition of thick socks. The insoles are completely useless. As I said, and would also be nice if the laces were about 2 inches longer to allow for creative lacing techiques as I have very high arches.
Lightweight and comfortable for short, muddy, boggy hikes up to 10km. Waterproofing kept the water out successfully despite extended periods walking through very boggy ground. Bit narrow at the toe for me to find them super comfortable, but that's what I chose. Cleaned off pretty well.
These are fabulous! Fast delivery, perfect fit and so comfortable
Comfy and light but very durable.
Very comfortable boot and supports ankle well
Amazingly high quality compared to the price tag. Hiked over rocks and all kinds of terrains over a period of 8-10 hours, feet didn't even hurt. Also walked in the recent pouring rain for 3 hours and my feet were still comfortably dry. Plus, as my friend and I found out, it took a lot to make these shoes slip, like a wet branch rolling under your feet. Otherwise, it gripped onto almost any surface.
Bought this mens shoe for hiking at the Ottways. Very comfortable and lightweight shoe and they are waterproof. I cannot believe you can get such a quality shoe for this price. Bought a ladies pair as well. Shame I could not find a kids pair though
I love the shoes, they are very comfortable.
Very. Good shoes,
I am only a petite size and was worried about finding some walking shoes that didn’t make me feel (or look) clumpy. I’m also very picky and indecisive when it comes to buying shoes. I often never find what I want or something that I like. As soon as I slipped my foot into this shoe I knew I wasn’t going to be leaving the store without them. They are so comfortable and fit like a glove. For a mid ankle boot they also don’t feel restrictive, tight or rub on the ankle either. There is also a wide range of sizes for people like myself with smaller feet. For me it was love at first step.
Very comfortable shoes, great for muddy tracks
Great boots.!
Top top
I purchased these for walking and for muddy bike races and they’ve been brilliant. First wear they were comfortable immediately and I have bunions. Whilst out I was in almost constant rain and two hail storms, and was frequently in wet mud that came over the toes. In the evening when I got home my socks were bone dry. Really impressed with these boots.

Additional Product Information
Composition
Outer sole of: 100.0% Rubber - Butadiene Rubber ; Upper of: 50.0% Polyamide, 5.0% Spandex, 30.0% Polyurethane, 15.0% Polyester cationic ; Lining and sock of: 70.0% Polyester cationic, 30.0% Polyurethane
Grippy soles on natural footpaths
The sole’s design is the result of extensive research carried out in our labs. We favored a specific rubber formula that optimizes grip and resistance. Since requirements differ, we systematically seek the best compromise for hiking on off-road trails with loose ground, such as forest trails.
Designed for use on country trails
Our hiking boots are designed for use on off-road trails. Indeed, we choose the components of the sole and upper of our boots and test them to ensure that they are ideally suited to hiking on loose trails (e.g. unpaved forest paths) or rocky trails (e.g. rocky coastal paths). Road use (asphalt) may lead to premature wear on your boots and cause discomfort. They are not suitable for mountain hiking.
Waterproofing test
Footwear equipped with a membrane is laboratory and field tested to ensure optimal waterproofing and breathability. To start, they are immersed in water with pressurized air inside to check that no bubbles form on the surface of the shoe. Next, they are fitted to a mechanical arm that simulates walking half-immersed in water to test that the inside remains perfectly dry.
3 levels of waterproofing
When tested for waterproofness, we test 3 levels of waterproofing:- 2,000 flexes, approximately 2 hours of hiking - 4,000 flexes, approximately 4 hours of hiking- 8,000 flexes, approximately 8 hours of hikingThe Women's boots NH150 Mid WP were tested for 2,000 flexes in a laboratory. This means they will stay waterproof for a 2-hour hike. Obviously, once they have dried out, they regain all of their original waterproofing properties.
How to keep your boots waterproof for longer
We advise that you use a re-waterproofing spray several times per year, to restore the original water-repellency and prevent staining.
Laboratory tested
Laboratory tests were also conducted to test the following elements: tearing eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion-resistance of outsole and upper components, accelerated aging. These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking boots.
How to choose the right size hiking boots
Try on both boots, standing up and wearing the socks you use for hiking. Try on several models or sizes if necessary. Check 2 comfort points: - the heel seating- the front of the foot on a downward slopeAvoid any pressure points when fitting. Feel free to walk around the store. Gradually start using your boots during your 1st few hiking trips to break them in.
The shoe/sock combination plays an important role
There are multiple factors that may cause blisters when you walk: rubbing, a crease in the sock, moisture, a shoe size that is too small or too big, etc. It is therefore important to choose the right size and to have socks made of the right material for your hiking boots.
How to choose the size of your hiking socks
You need to choose the correct sock size for your feet to prevent any extra folds from forming. These folds may form because the sock is too big and therefore there is too much material around your foot, or because the sock so small and is pulled toward the inside of your foot.
Product testing
Our design team conceives, designs, and creates Quechua products in France, at the foot of Mont Blanc. We test them in the field with other hikers to check their comfort and durability. In the Fontainebleau Forest or in Brittany, for example. We go on as many trails as possible, in all weather conditions. This creates plenty of opportunities for discussions to get your feedback, which is used to plan our future products!
Storage instructions
We recommend you store your boots in a dry, dark, and, if possible, ventilated place.
