Women's Ski Jacket First Heat

The 100 jacket was rigorously developed and assembled to prevent water from entering and to feel the wind less, to help you cope with bad weather (rain, snow, wind, etc.). To check that it is waterproof, this jacket was placed in a special shower reproducing the conditions a skier has to cope with. We approved this product's waterproofing by skiing in different weather conditions for several days.

The water repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without seeping in. The 100 jacket is equipped with water-repellent components that prolong its resistance to bad weather. This is an additional technical solution for staying dry for as long possible on the ski slopes. In order to remain effective, this treatment must be regularly restored using products sold in our stores.

The coating is a waterproofing material spread over the inner surface of a fabric. It prevents water from seeping into the garment but allows the water vapor produced by the body's physical activity to escape. So you stay dry and feel more comfortable while practicing your sport.

We use padding for insulation to help keep you warm. This polyester-based synthetic material traps air, the quantity of which will depend on the size of the fibers. Padding can be standard, high-tech or siliconized, each with different properties: warmth, low weight, elasticity, etc. All the padding materials that we use are made with recycled materials – usually plastic bottles.

It is a product that lets the water vapor produced by the body during exercise escape, keeping you dry. To see if a fabric is breathable, we measure its resistance to evaporative heat (RET) in a standardized ISO 11092 test. The lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric. Wed'ze uses high-tech materials and solutions (zippers, ventilation, mesh) that help prevent condensation inside the garment. RET of the component of the 100 jacket < 12.

To keep warm and dry, use the 3-breathable-layers rule: 1 skiing base layer, 1 liner jacket to keep warm and 1 ski jacket to protect you from bad weather.

You no longer need to get out your ski pass! Your sleeve has a ski pass pocket, allowing you to access lifts quickly.

The product's environmental footprint is calculated for its entire life and with various indicators. They are then tested under the same conditions as you would experience in real-life use (snow, cold, powder snow, etc.) The design teams make sure that the program for which the product is designed and developed corresponds perfectly to its use in the field.

Store on a hanger and do not fold, as this can damage the fabric coating. Dry thoroughly before storing in a dry and well-ventilated place.
