We have developed this jacket for intense winter weather: extreme cold, snow, blizzards. Insulation is made of thick padding, a synthetic component that insulates thanks to the air it traps in its fibers (double layer on the body and single on the arms). We have added a large padded flap under the zipper to prevent the entry of cold air. Tightening at the waist completes the features to ensure a comfortable jacket down to -4°.

Your jacket is designed with a waterproof outer component that keeps out water and wind. In the winter, to stay warm, you must also protect your extremities (head, hands, feet). The anti-blizzard hood with detachable synthetic fur, cuffs on the sleeves and high collar prevent cold from getting in. The high hand-warmer pockets with fleece lining are perfect for protecting your hands in a comfortable position.

We have designed your extreme cold jacket with an outer fabric with waterproof coating. A fabric's resistance is measured using water pressure expressed in terms of the height of a water column in mm (test based on ISO 811). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A component with a 2000 mm waterproof rating is therefore resistant to the pressure exerted by a 2000 mm column of water, which roughly corresponds to a 2-hour downpour.

Your jacket is made waterproof thanks to its main taped seams. Fitting waterproof strips inside the garment makes the seams waterproof by limiting water ingress at these sensitive places. We have checked the waterproofing with a specially designed shower test to reproduce the conditions of a 2-hour rain shower. We have also worn it in the field in all conditions to make sure it is suitable for your activity.

Practical, clever details: 2 hand-warmer pockets, 2 outside pockets with flap, 1 secure inside pocket, 2 inside net pockets to keep everything close to hand. The main zipper has a long zipper pull and press studs with a thumb loop to open or close your jacket with your hands wrapped up into your gloves. The 2 zippers at the bottom of the jacket let you bend down or sit comfortably.

With its fitted, feminine parka cut, your jacket has style out in the wild as well as in the city. Its comfortable volume means you can pair it with a second warm layer such as a fleece or light padded jacket, to better withstand the cold. The drawstring at the waist protects you from the cold and lets to change the look of your jacket: fitted, relaxed.

To check the durability of our products, we carry out tests on the components selected: resistance to rubbing and abrasion, colorfastness, resistance to repeated washing. All these tests have been carried out on the component used for this jacket.

To dress properly in winter, whatever your activity, we recommend using the 3-layer principle: layer 1: The high-tech base layer transfers moisture away from the body to keep your skin dry. layer 2: The second layer (fleece, sweater) provides warmth and transfers moisture outwards. layer 3: The jacket protects you from outdoor conditions: rain, snow, wind. The whole outfit must be breathable in order to eliminate moisture.

The water-repellent property of a fabric is its ability to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. In this way, the fabric does not soak up water and therefore remains lightweight, breathable and warm. Water repellency is obtained by a treatment applied on the outer surface of the fabric. This treatment needs to be renewed during the lifetime of the garment (we recommend each wash). Products (spray or liquid) designed specifically for this purpose are available in our stores.

This product is guaranteed for 2 years from the date shown on the sales receipt. A product covered by the warranty will be exchanged free of charge. The warranty covers product defects, excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear and improper use.
