Product Customer Reviews

Received the Jacket Trek 100 a few days ago and have only worn it a few times but love the warmth of this jacket, lightness, and the ability to fold it into it's own pocket. I plan on using this jacket to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail beginning in April 2020...will definitely update my review afterwards. I did size up as the site suggested and the jacket is larger than what I really wanted but should work for me with the addition of layers. I could have sent it back for a smaller size but needed to start testing my gear out now.
Jacket!
Yah
Good value for money.
Perfect fit, makes you warn and lightweight.
light weight and comfortable.
Very nice , comfortable, light as a feather :) , waterproof ,
I kept this jacket as the colour was so lovely. Even though I bought the largest size its still on the small side. Also I ware it under a waterproof jacket as its not very thick.
Warm and light
Great jacket fits well Has a useful hood and at a great price too
I love this coat, it fits well, I like the colour and the fact that it packs neatly into the pocket. It is not as warm as down but does not require as much care and is much cheaper than my down jacket. I do not worry if it gets wet. Reasons for not having 5 stars are that it has no hanging hook, (I have to hang it up by the hood) and the label is really really itchy on my neck!!
...
My wife was very happy with coat for her month long trip to asia
Very light but warm coat for those chilly fall evenings and mornings.
Compact and very light

Additional Product Information
Composition
Main fabric
- 100% Polyamide
Padding
- 100% Polyester cationic
Main lining
- 100% Polyamide
Durable materials
This polyamide fabric that uses 20 denier thread resists 20,000 cycles of abrasion. Martindale test, Standard 12 947-2 Outer: 100% polyamide fabric 1.4 oz/sqm, 20 denier Lining: 100% polyamide fabric 1.2 oz/sqm, mix of 15 and 20 denier threads
Thermal insulation
This padded jacket has been certified for a comfort temperature of 21°F during a standardized test in a thermal chamber. The mannequin wears a synthetic long-sleeved T-shirt and a light fleece underneath. It walks with a simulated 3 mph wind. In our heat comparison tool, it represents 2 stars.
Technical information on the padding
We use 100% polyester fill (25% recycled). The fill is made from silicon-coated spiral fibers that make it highly compressible and highly durable. Despite its slim design, it is highly insulating thanks to the air trapped inside and it remains low weight. It remains warm even when wet.
Do you know why the inner lining of your padded jacket is gray?
Because the fabric we use reduces CO2 emissions by 40%. The fabric used in this lining is innovative because it mixes a self-dyed black yarn and an undyed yarn. Compared to conventional dyeing, this process makes it possible to reduce by: • 66% fine particle emissions (PM2.5) • 74% eutrophication of fresh water • 68% eutrophication of marine water
Additional sustainable development information
On the Trek 100 black model, the outer fabric uses a clean process known as dope dyeing (the thread is dyed before the yarn is woven), reducing CO2 emissions by 36%. More information: http://developpement-durable.decathlon.com/
Water-repellent property of the component (not to be confused with waterproofing)
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight and breathable. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface, however this property may deteriorate with use. In order to reactivate it, follow the guide:
Functions
Inside flap under the zipper that protects from the wind. Elasticated cuffs Flap at the top of the collar to protect the chin. Tightening with an elastic cord and toggle at the hem. Hood with elastic bias binding
