Not yet worn but looks ok. What was asked for
Nice gilet but would even better if we could have it in pale grey like the trek 100 padded jacket
Really pleased with my gilet - brilliant for under a waterproof & looks smart when worn with jeans etc. Hardly any weight to it so perfect as an additional layer if needed - good pockets too.
Good quality, lightweight and warm. Product arrived very promptly.
I have a much more expensive gilet which I wear infrequently because I don't want to ruin it and it is pretty bulky so I thought I'd try buying this one to wear for work where it will get quite a bit of battering and be worn most days in winter. It did not disappoint and now I am hoping I get bought another one for Christmas to keep at home to wear too!

Good product
My wife bought it recently and so far it has been a good experience for her. The cut and finish is good. It's definitely warm enough for our climatic condition and highly portable and lightweight. How will it fare in the long run, I don't know yet, but so far it has been a promising start.

Technical information on the padding
We use 100% polyester fill (25% recycled). The fill is made from silicon-coated spiral fibers that make it highly compressible and highly durable. Despite its low thickness, it has high insulation properties thanks to the air trapped inside, and remains lightweight. It remains warm even when wet.
Do you know why the inner lining of your down jacket is gray?
Because the fabric we use reduces CO2 emissions by 40%. The fabric used is innovative because it mixes a self-dyed black thread and an undyed thread. Compared to a classic dyeing process, this process reduces by: • 66% fine particle emissions (PM2.5) • 74% Eutrophication of fresh water • 68% eutrophication of sea water

Water-repellent property of the component (not to be confused with the waterproofing)
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight and breathable. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface; however, this property may deteriorate with use.
