I've never seen waterproof boots for this price, and they are also warm, comfortable, and seem to have great tread. I originally ordered the wrong size, and was worried about exchanging because the sale had ended. I received the best customer service experience, they followed up with me and helped me order the correct size. I was so impressed by their responsiveness and helpfulness and they were so fast to respond. And now that the shoes fit, I'm really excited to try them out in the snow!
Surprised by the first time walked to the hiking peak without any pain but comfortable. Then walked for another 6000-7000 steps in the arboretum with no problem. This is the first time I bought the Decathlon shoes. I will definitely try out other pair of shoes.
The shoe is well made and warm. I wore it just once BUT, after walking a few steps, I realize something was poking the upper part of my left feet. So, I checked the shoes and realize the metal lace clamp not properly set and it was causing pain while walking. I have a long hike next month. I have no idea what to do now with this pair of shoes. I buy all my sports goods from decathlon worldwide and happy with the quality products, but not this time.
This boot is exactly what i was looking for.
My daughter has been wearing these shoes for few days; she was happy saying they are comfortable and warm, BUT, after observing her walk, I realize her left feet was going inwards, which is never the case. So I checked the shoes and realize the upper part of the left shoe was not properly aligned but bending inwards.... I have no idea what to do now with this pair of shoes.... usually we are happy with the Decathlon products, but not this time.

I am deeply sorry with the bad experience you have had with your product and this left shoe that seems totally anormal.
Despite all the controls that we run in production to provide very qualitative footwear, it seems that this is an exceptionnal defect.

Good boot, very warm and comfortable. Unfortunately, if the ground is wet they become very slippery. A few times I have almost fallen over because I lost grip. I have other boots from Decathlon and they don’t have this problem. So yes, all together happy, but feel unsafe wearing them when it rains.
It’s very comfy but it abit slippery on some surface.
Super comfortable, they seem to adapt to the temperature... and are not too hot on a cool day

Bought these for overseas city travel in winter. Season was uncharacteristically warmer so it wasn’t snowing as usual. These boots were still great though for warmth and for keeping my feet dry. They look good and I walked in them comfortably all day each day for 6 days. As in other reviews, grip could be better, however for what I needed, for the price, they were perfect.
It gave me heel pain constantly that involved into hip pain for more than 3 months

I am very pleased with this boot. They are good quality, warm, exellent traction, cute and water resistent. My only complaint is they could have more cushioniing. I am usually size 8.5 I got a 9 and it fits. I got another pair different color because they were so nice.

Snowcontact technology.
SNOWCONTACT soles are tested and certified in the laboratory and within the field, to offer excellent adherence and maximum grip across all types of winter terrain (snow and ice). The specific component and contact surface ensures excellent adherence on slippery terrain. The optimized design of the studs offers maximum grip on gradients.
Footwear waterproofing test.
The footwear is laboratory and field tested to ensure optimal waterproofing and breathability. First step: the boots are immersed in water while internal air pressure is applied: the shoe is checked to ensure that no bubbles form on the surface of the shoes. They are half immersed and placed on a mechanical arm that simulates walking. we then check that the inside of the shoe remains perfectly dry.
3 levels of waterproofing.
During the waterproofing tests, we test 3 levels of waterproofing, with 2000 flexes (approx. equivalent to a 2.8 mi walk), 4000 flexes (approx. equivalent to an 4.2 mi walk) and 8000 flexes (approx. equivalent to a 9.2 mi walk). Of course, after this test or in use, the shoe regains its original waterproofing once dry.
Shoe waterproofing level.
The 100 Warm boots remain waterproof after 2,000 flexes.
Field tests.
All our shoes are tested for wearing comfort and comfort in use by users who are representative of the target market, under the same conditions as those that will be experienced in real-life use. In our field tests the product manager works with people outside QUECHUA to test, improve, and approve our products.
Measurement of the boots' thermal insulation.
It was not previously possible to give a precise idea of the temperature at which your shoes would still insulate your feet from the cold. Now it can be done: the temperature limits for use are shown on your Quechua shoes. Using cold sensing tests while hiking and in the lab with a panel of customers, we measured the thermal resistance of our shoes. We take into consideration the differences between men and women.
Lab tests.
Laboratory tests were conducted to test the following elements: attachment of eyelets and straps, fixtures, toxicology, UV resistance, sole and upper component abrasion, advanced aging.
