Layer 1: 2nd skin (high-tech base layer) that wicks away moisture to keep the skin dry.Layer 2: insulating (T-shirt, fleece) that provides warmth as well as moisture-wicking. Layer 3: Protective outer (jacket) that protects from bad weather: wind, snow and cold.Adjust the number of layers to the level of your physical effort and the weather, and make sure that the clothing is breathable.
