Returning to my European roots of fishing, and Decathlon once again came to my rescue this side of the Atlantic, with a well priced two piece rod, suitable for carp and cat fishing here in the USA. Product is awesome and exactly what I needed.
Received on time and intact! These are perfectly balanced pieces of equipment, and if you are a seasoned angler, or new to the sport, these will be the backbone of your carp fishing arsenal. 5 stars.....

Bought this rod as I wanted a light and short rod for fishing local ponds for Carp. I have loved it since day one and caught a vast amount of fish with it and even bought a second one I was so happy with the first one. Build quality is great, its light and it bends just right. I use it for Salmon and Trout fishing too rather than buying specific rods for the job as it handles fast flowing water just as well. Only thing I would suggest us selling it with a rod cover for transport. One would expect a rod cover for a rod at this price.

A pesar de ser ligera y cómoda es robusta, permite unos muy buenos lances por su elasticidad. Por ponerle un pero, se echa en falta un "mango" cómodo para sostenerla mientras recoges la línea...

Canne légère et robuste . Ses 2.5lbs et sa finesse lui offrent une magnifique action, tout en gardant cependant une grande réserve de puissance. Son plus gros atout : elle s'adapte à toutes les situations. Je l'utilise du feeder en rivière à la pêche du carnassier au posé en étang. Je l'ai même utilisé à la pêche au vif avec bouchon et à la pêche au gros leurre.....que ce soit du bord ou en barque... Bref, faite pour la pêche de la carpe vous pourrez l'utiliser à d'autres fins tant elle est fine et maniable. L'utiliser c'est l'adopter!!!
c'est la canne à carpe que je recherchai pour la pêche au bouchon. la bonne longueur et un talon assez court par rapport à ma taille.
super canne ,. J ai hésité au départ avec l autre modèle mais je ne regrette pas du tout ce choix merci le vendeur du decat. Moulins Avermes . des la 1ere sortie avec 4 poissons donc un amour blanc de 12kg , un régal sur les rush du pépère . Cannes équipé de FX11 , un ensemble fabuleux

The progressive action of the X'trem 9 slim 270 will respond continually and accurately to your needs.With extreme accuracy you will be able to cast your line, even a very light one, over long distances and confidently play very large fish on fine nylon.Please note: Before casting, check that the joints are properly assembled. A poorly inserted spigot is the main cause of rod breakage.

The test curve of your rod is a gauge of two different but complementary characteristics:- The ability to resist a tension force similar to wrestling with a fish.-The rod's ability to cast a weight over a certain distance.The power of the 2.5 lbs will enable you to cast up to 85 g between 90m and 100 m, and reel in medium sized fish with ease.

Maintenance
Everyday maintenance is simple: just clean your rods with warm soapy water, and then rinse and dry them carefully, paying special attention to the joints.This step is very important to make sure you remove any sand that can damage your rods
