The sizing is way out with these jackets. I have quite a lot os clothing from Decathlon all in size large. The sizing on these says a size 14 is a large but when it arrived the Decathlon label said medium/large. I reordered a size 16 when that arrived the Decathlon label said large but it was still really snug and very tight on the arms. I am sending it back and will try to size 18! The actual jacket is really nice but very annoying that the sizi gs are wrong and I have wasted two lots of postage returning them.

Bunda je vypasovaná na tělo a při výšce 175 cm sahá na boky, takže nehrozí holá záda. Nemá klasickou podšívku, ale přesto je teplá.
Uzasna jarni bundicka co zahreje, nepromokne a neprofoukne. Jsem velmi spokojena

Sehr schöne Jacke. Passt super. Ist auch schön tailliert. Wind und wasserdicht. Super für den Übergang
Jacke fühlt sich gut an, ist aber leider sehr eng geschnitten.
Ein sehr guter tragekomfort, absolute Bewegungsfreiheit, Wind und Wasser abweisend, angenehm warm. Zum Wassersport mehr als geeignet.
Die Jacke wird von mir im Winter zum Laufen und Rad fahren getragen.Sie hält Wind und Regen super ab!
Schöne Jacke. Etwas eng in der M, unter den Achseln. Bin sonst ein Träger von S. Farbe blau sieht doof aus....eher wie ne Arbeitsjacke von meinem Mann...die anderen Farben gefallen mir auch nicht...schade....geht zurück.
vielen Dank, dass du dir die Zeit genommen hast, die Softshell-Jacke Cruise Segeln zu bewerten. Wir bedauern sehr, dass du mit der Jacke unzufrieden bist. Tatsächlich fällt dieses Modell extrem klein aus, sodass ca. 1-2 Nummern größer gewählt werden muss.

Die Jacke passt Perfekt ist Wasserabweisend und hält warm einfach super
Liefreung ok, Ware sher gut
Eigentlich eine gute Jacke, passte ganz gut (bei einer XL) und der Schnitt ist toll. Leider geht sie zurück, da mir die Farbe (Rot/Pink) einfach nicht gefällt und der untere Saum weit absteht. Leider kann man sie unten nicht gut enger ziehen. Wind, Wasser und Atmung habe ich nicht getestet.

What is softshell?
Softshell is a high-tech fabric combining 3 materials: a breathable and windproof microporous membrane sandwiched between the water-repellent outer layer and the warm and comfortable fleece inner layer. This technical material provides thermal comfort, breathability, lightness and ease of movement thanks to the warm stretch fabric that also provides protection against 30 minutes of fine rain.
What does water-repellent mean?
Not to be confused with waterproof!It is a quality achieved by applying a hydrophobic, water-repellent treatment to a fabric. This process prevents water from sticking to the fabric's surface, so less water is absorbed. When movement is added to the equation, water glides over the fabric. This means the fabric is water-repellent. Thanks to water-repellent properties, water does not soak into the outer fabric; therefore the jacket remains light, does not retain moisture and is quicker to dry.
What is breathability and the ret index?
A fabric's breathability is its ability to disperse water vapor produced by the body (perspiration). It can be measured using the RET index (Resistance to Evaporative Transfer). The RET is a resistance index; the lower the value, the greater the breathability of the garment. RET between 6 and 12: very breathable; RET between 12 and 20: breathable; RET above 20: not breathable. Our products are very breathable, with a RET between 6.2 and 12.
How important is windproofing?
Protection from the wind is critical, as wind can chill the body significantly whether you are active or at rest. According to the windchill model, which measures how the air temperature feels when factoring in the wind and cold: when the air temperature is 41°F and the wind speed is 19 mph, the apparent temperature will be 32°F. If the air temperature is 32°F and wind speed is 20 mph, the temperature felt will be 21°F. The materials used in our products help to counter the windchill effect.
What is the hood like?
The hood of this product has been designed so as not to get in your way as you sail. The positioning of its seams are such that the hood follows the movements of your head. Its adjustment point at the top lets you adjust it to the right height. Its additional adjustment points at the collar let you modify the width to help stop the wind and cold from getting in. The hood has been tested to be worn with and without a waterproof jacket on top.
Water-repellency maintenance
To refresh the water-repellency of the fabric and optimize the performance of your garment throughout its life, you can use a re-waterproofing spray or a water-repellency reactivating liquid. The overall water-repellency of the 900 softshell jacket can withstand 5 washes.After that, we recommend reactivating the waterproofing treatment to ensure performance.
