These trousers seem to be an upgraded version of a basic Quechua walking trouser. The Quechua version was very good and excellent value. This version has a different cut which may look more stylish but as there is no stretch in the fabric, reduces freedom of movement significantly. They also have a different pocket design which is not as functional as their predecessor.
I found these trousers to be comfortable and allowed for good freedom of movement. They were quick to dry and the side pockets come in useful. I purchased the next size up as i found my usual size were tight around the thighs and groin area.
Been wearing these for a little while now. They are slightly on the thin side so best for Spring and Summer months. They don't feel very durable, but so far in all my time wearing them I have yet to break or wear them out. Will happily buy more next spring.
My son wore them to climb snowdon and he said were really comfortable and when you got hot just up zipped them, really pleased with them
Bought it in July 2022. April 2024, not even 2 years later, the material started to break and torn. I wish it would last longer than 3 years. I use it regularly as daily usage.
Bought these trousers for traveling ,ideal being able to become shorts at the pull of a zip. Great for Summer holidays. As always Decathlon quality and price wins every time.
they feel so light and comfortable, they're windproof, they fit perfectly, and they look great. I love them.
Great pair of flexible zippy trousers. Though thin in feel, tough in action on the Scottish hills, and on the trails in Madeira.
really light to wear, very comfortable to wear and walk with them on. only wore these once but cant fault them at the moment. plenty of pockets too

Having unzipped the bottom part of trousers could'nt get them over my boots
So off trousers are good and fit for purpose. I would have preferred zips on the thigh pockets similar to the shorts of the same make you can get but I am happy with the purchase. Trousers also have the phone internal pocket in the right thigh pocket. Not sure if it will fit some of the larger phones but for 5.5" its fine.
Only worn three times and the back has rippedon the shorts.

What is the water repellent feature of the component?
These trousers have water-repellent inserts (knees, buttocks) that let the water slide off the surface of the fabric. Please note, this does not mean WATERPROOF.The water repellent property prevents the trousers from getting wet too fast but will not keep you dry under steady rain.To do this, you will need a pair of over-trousers like the MT500 model (ref.8493660). The water-repellent properties can be restored by warming the trousers in a tumble dryer at low heat for 10 minutes
Functions
To make it easy to identify the leggings without hesitation, we have used a red zip puller on the right leg and grey on the left. So you won't confuse the two! Partially elasticated lower legs to fit your trekking boots better!

What about maintenance?
Always wash the trousers with the lower legs zipped on in order to preserve a uniform colour throughout the product.
Product testing
These trousers have been tested and validated in the field in real conditions. They were worn for 5 weeks in spring 2019 by several people who went trekking in the Canary Islands for 2 weeks, followed by 3 weeks on the GR10 route in the Pyrenees.
