Good value for money

Used for a first trip of 1300 km, the bag is so practical and integrated for daily use that I left it mounted on my bike.

Perfectly suited to the frame…

Perfectly fits my bike frame. Good sealing. Check the frame size carefully before purchasing this product

The bag looks durable and will be waterproof.

The bag also fit into the Triban rc500 frame, size S. Zips are a little harder, but it's nothing terrible.

Used on ultra race…

Used on ultra races, no problem encountered, holds well on the frame, ideal for size L frames. Small criticism on the opening, difficult to find this material.

It would be a good bag, but the size was not good.

Based on what was described, this bag was also good for my bike. Well, no. S gravel frame and does not fit in the length of the frame. I gave it to my dad. anyway, the stuff is great, it's really waterproof and has a lot of fixing points. Massive. So I recommend it, only for at least M frame size.

Very well thought out

Very durable bag, 100% waterproof and easy to fit small items in. Just needs a little more volume to be able to store extras.

Terrible zipper

The bag is well thought out in principle, but the zipper is so bad and extremely stiff that you can't use the bag. Even when it's not mounted, it's almost impossible to use, and once the bag is on the bike, it's even worse. Because you unfortunately need a lot of strength to open and close it, I assume that this will have a negative effect on the durability and watertightness of the bag. It's a shame, it wanted to be a really good bag every now and then, but the zipper makes it almost unusable.

Perfect measurements but very bad for removing the clip

First of all, the bad. The bag no longer comes with that clip to hold the zipper cord so that the relatively large tizip puller doesn't hit the bag with movement, which can be annoying. I don't understand the reason for removing it and not changing the photos on the product sheet or warning about it in some way, it's a rather ugly detail on Decathlon's part, even in the instructions that come with the product that clip is represented. The length of the zipper can be a bit short and uncomfortable if, for example, you want to store something long like the tent poles. The bag is 47 cm long but the length of the zipper is only 33 cm. What I like is the size, which is perfect for the Riverside 920 that I have and to be able to continue carrying 2 bottles; the tightness, I haven't tested it yet but when you squeeze the bag no air comes out and it looks quite resistant. In short, it is a decent product, but the detail of removing the clip and the short length of the strap have not convinced me 100% and make me think about returning it.

Used and missing parts

I unpacked the bag today and put it on. It seems good and of high quality. I can't say anything about how watertight it is yet. But: all the loops were already attached. There is a drawstring on the zipper, which you should be able to hook onto a hook when it's closed so that it doesn't dangle around. This hook is missing! I think the bag has been used before. Since I need the bag, I'll keep it for now, but I'll be filing a complaint with Decathlon.

One week of use in…

A week of use in a trip around Lozère without any problem, you just have to remember to grease the zipper well.

WATERPROOF HALF-FRAME FRAME BAG

install on the xl 530 rockrider mountain bike neon green the IPX6 WATERPROOF HALF-FRAME FRAME BAG SIZE L BIKEPACKING ADVT 900 and top in the rain the accessories put in the bag stays well protected from the weather I also put papers there that something else, I also use it for my short hikes with my children and grandchildren I can slip in two small bottles of water in addition to the repair kit thank you Decathlon for this very useful product

Perfect even for MTB geometry

Advantages: - quite roomy - I need a raincoat, a thicker hat, gloves, a scarf, a sweatshirt, a penknife, and a multitool. You can still push something if you persist. - waterproof - seems durable Disadvantages: - DOES NOT CONTAIN A HOOK FOR THE ZIPPER STRING - isn't this misleading the customer or selling a different product? Personally, this is not a problem for me, but it is worth being aware of. - it doesn't unzip completely, so access to things is quite difficult. That's why you need to learn how to fold clothes, etc., in order to pack them sensibly - when loaded, it's pushed to the sides - it's not a problem, but someone may not like such aesthetics - it was intended for a specific bicycle manufactured by Riverside, so on a steel bike with thin tubes you need to cut the Velcro. This wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the fact that the middle Velcro - the main, non-adjustable one - is made of two layers, so when you cut it, just like that, it will split because you're getting rid of the end with the cross stitching.

Pictures

Good product but the photos no longer match. Decathlon has voluntarily removed the small plastic hook which prevents the closure from flying in all directions. You just need to update the photos, notify the potential buyer, AND find a replacement solution because the little plastic part that flies off is quite unpleasant.

Riverside frame bag

Very stiff zipper which I hope doesn’t get any worse over time and no zip clip? this means the zip bangs against the bag annoyingly, this lack of detail makes the bag quite expensive for what you get, better on the market for less money.
