Excellent product, it has protected me in these last very rainy weeks.

Very large size, great for strong and/or tall people, but also during walks to protect a backpack for example. Very good sealing.
Really disappointed with this cape. I bought it to go to Italy and after a week of use, not waterproof at all, I was soaked in a big downpour. Too bad. Plus the poncho shape was too wide

This rain poncho is extremely practical both for hiking and running. It is very waterproof and breathable. Average look but very practical
Keep it in the backpack so you can take it out very quickly in case of rain, very practical and covering.

The storage pouch is missing a handle so it can be attached to the backpack and a kangaroo pocket with flap on the poncho. But protects very well from rain and wind.

Waterproofing of the garment
this garment has been validated in a shower test under 12 cm rain for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the mountains.
Component breathability
Our range of rain ponchos and capes does not have breathable waterproof membranes. We therefore recommend this product when you walk at a gentle relaxed pace rather than a fast hike, in order to reduce sweating!
Component water resistance
A fabric is water repellent when it allows water slide over its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment needs to be renewed throughout the lifetime of the garment (every 3 washes).All the Forclaz ponchos and capes have a water repellent treatment.
Storage instructions
Make sure it is completely dry before folding and storing in its storage bag for long periods.
