Question:
Hi, I am right between sizes M and L for the Triban RC120 road bike. I am 5'11" and shorter legs with approximately a 31-32" inseam. What is the standover height for both the M and L frame for the RC120? Thank you
Answer:
You should opt for the large, though you may not have as much stand over clearance. I am 5'7" with a 30" inseam, and fit the medium perfectly.
Question:
I’m 5’11” with a 32” inseam. I’m fairly proportional in regards to torse, legs, arms, etc. The size guide says I’m right between a M and L. What do you recommend?
Answer:
Based on your height and inseam, I would definely recomend a large
Question:
I am 6 ft and the guidelines on this website say I should buy an L. However, other Decathlon websites of European countries (France, Italy, Germany) have a slightly different scale and I would be between M and L. What would be your advice? Thanks
Answer:
Would Suggest a Large - at 5'8'' I am a medium to offer prespective.

You certainly could use this bike for 1/2 Ironman, I would add a set of Aero bars and you would be set.
Question:
I was wondering if there is more size M coming out?
Answer:
Unfortunately not - we will not be replenishing this model.
Question:
Is there a way to purchase a new front wheel? I was in a car accident and only my front wheel was damaged.
Answer:
For sure, the wheel is a stanard size and should be available at your local bike shop. The components are 100% standard and should be easy to find. If you want to re-use exisiting parts, you can ask your local bike shop to rebuild the wheel on a similar rim reusing your hub, and rotor if they were not damaged in the accident.
Question:
How much assembly will I need to do when I buy this bike and will I need special tools?
Answer:
This bike will arrive 95% assembled. You will need to put on the handle bars, install the seat post & pedals and complete the tire inflation. All the tools you will need with the exception of an air pump are included. - Attached is the assembly video of a similar bike to give you perspective: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vv6t7gapiIE&list=PLVYtuDK6gYA8HbAu_n6fpQaMCA47mInBP&index=1
Question:
What is the max tire width I could install on this bike without having to change the wheel frames?
Answer:
The largest tire size you can put on this bike is a 700 x 32mm.
Question:
Will I be able to upgrade this bike to a 10-speed groupset (such as Shimano Toagra)?
Answer:
Yes you will all the parts on the frames set are 100% standard.
Question:
I’m 5’6 with a 28 inseam 140 pounds, would the xs work for me or should I go with a different model?
Answer:
You would fit better on a small - maybe explore the GRVL 520 in a small.
Question:
im 6-1”, I really want the drop bar version of this bike however it’s not available in the proper L size. Is XL ok or do I need to figure something else out?

Product Customer Reviews
Downside on the pro max front brakes!! Front derailleur took up some play quickly.. happy with my purchase transformed into Gravel…
Without doubt the best quality/price ratio on the market currently, very versatile.
Very happy with this bike. Light, comfortable, reliable. I haven't had a problem with it in over a year.
Great! Comfortable and efficient. Very versatile.
First outing and on top
After around 3000km in everyday life, short trips and a Transalp, I can highly recommend the RC120. First of all, the price/performance ratio of the components is great. In addition, I also like the following in comparison to more expensive bikes: - The geometry allows a very upright position compared to other racing bikes (high stack/reach ratio), which I find very comfortable in city traffic. - In the mountains, the smallest gear ratio of 34:34 was very useful for me. Many other racing bikes have 34:32. - Mudguards and luggage racks can be easily mounted. I regularly transport weekly shopping with at least 30kg of luggage on the luggage rack and have only had one broken spoke so far (which could have come from somewhere else). - I personally also had very positive experiences with the Decathlon bike service (free repair of broken spokes within the warranty period, maintenance, etc.) Despite all the praise, I would like to see the following two changes made at the factory: - a stem with a 35° angle. I suspect that the majority of buyers prefer this. - the better mechanical brakes TRP Spyre (or Tektro MD-C550). I didn't feel 100% comfortable with the factory brakes on long downhill rides and that would probably be worth paying a little extra for.
Robustness and maneuverability are the two main qualities of this bike. Happy with my purchase
Very good bike 👍
I recommend it, because not only is it equipped with a Shimano transmission, but the geometry is very similar to that of the models widely used in competition (Specialized, Pinarello, Look).
I recommend it as a starter. The brakes sometimes fail and brake worse.
Perfect for my cyclo-tourist use.
If you want to cycle more than 500km, do not choose this bike. are at the bicycle repair shop every month.
Nice nice bike
This is my first road bike! I have already ridden on several terrains, including in the mountains, and it is very good! lighter than I thought!
Bike a little limited for roads with steep slopes. But still good value for money.
