Very nice and breathable socks. Plus they are sturdy. I finally found socks that met my expectations. I bought several and whether they are low or mid-high I highly recommend them.

I already knew the article, an article with excellent features, TOP features from hiking to Trail Running, durable over time and resistant to washing, without losing its features.
There, well done Decat! I bought these socks just before going hiking in the mountains for 5 days. A little expensive nonetheless, but it was not an option to have light bulbs. In merino wool for the breathable side. I also took them for the anti-friction fabric. With the gel on the front feet, it was perfect. Well, it's true that when you put them on, you feel like you're putting on slippers (because of the curls). I took a 36-38 for my size 38. I was afraid it would be too tight, but in fact, it was perfect! I highly recommend these socks!

Like the others purchased, my husband can't stand them because they are too tight, he wears a size 40, I wear them and I wear a size 34.5

Reducing the risk of chafing
We have selected a technical yarn with a specific coating (PTFE) at the heel and toe to reduce rubbing and therefore the risk of blisters. In no circumstances do these socks provide 100% protection from blisters. Blisters usually appear when our skin is weakened by chafing, generally caused by socks, shoes or foreign bodies. Humidity also plays an important role as it weakens our skin.
Choosing the height of your socks
We offer 3 lengths of hiking socks. “Short/low” goes slightly above the shoes but under the ankles. “Medium/mid” protect your ankles and stop just above them. These 2 lengths are sized to be worn with low shoes. “Tall/high” are perfect to wear with high-top hiking shoes as they stop just below the calf.
How to correctly select hiking socks
Each of our sock sizes fits 4 shoes sizes (3/5, 6/8, 9/12, 13/15). The benefit of the elastane qualities in our socks is that they adapt well to your foot and stay in place. We all have different size feet, in length, proportion and volume: that's why it’s important to try on your socks before going hiking
