Do your job well 👌

Super duvet

I find this duvet really great for the price, it's very comfortable, it keeps you really warm and it's really well made. The only thing I could criticize about it but given its price it's not a real criticism is its size. 15L.. Otherwise it keeps you very warm, even in temperatures ranging from -2 to -3° we sleeps very well inside. If we are not very cold this weekend again with temperatures of 2°. I slept in a T-shirt and underwear indoors, and the temperatures were fine.

Warm sleeping bag

I haven't tested it in very cold weather, but it's a great sleeping bag for a May weekend by the river, warm, soft and comfortable

Good but too bulky

Comfortable but terribly bulky sleeping bag even in size S (and heavy!)

Good Product

How to wash this sleeping bag?

warm sleeping bag

very comfortable and warm sleeping bag, I always had a problem with sleeping in a tent due to the low temperature outside, but in this sleeping bag I slept the whole night without having to dress up ☺️ size S fits perfectly for a 158 cm tall person, it is not tight and comfortable

recommended

Fortunately there is a compression cover otherwise it would have been too bulky.

a little cocoon

A good sleeping bag, very comfortable and warm but the zippers tend to open on their own if you move too much.

Not really 0°C

Below 5°C, you still need to be warmly dressed under your sleeping bag. It's better to invest in a good duvet

Sleeping Bag - Winter Activities

This is a very comfortable and spacious sleeping bag, ideal for winter camping. The double zipper allows for easy entry and exit, and the flaps inside prevent cold air from entering through the upper area. However, it is very difficult to fold and place in the travel bag, considering its filling.

very warm but still rather light

very warm and comfortable I loved the idea of being able to double it to make a large 2-seater bag. I tested it in bivouac and unfortunately the night was not very good because as soon as one moves, it wakes the other and we lose heat because we are less bundled up Otherwise, nothing to complain about this product with individual use

What is the temperature rating?

All our sleeping bags display the temperature ratings, tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX), in accordance with the European standard NF ISO 23537 - 1:2022. The comfort temperature rating is the lower limit at which the user in relaxed posture is generally in thermal equilibrium and feels neither too cold nor too hot (for a standard woman in normal conditions of use). Choose your sleeping bag according to this criterion.

What is the temperature rating (lower limit at which you feel comfortable)?

The comfort limit temperature is the temperature limit at which a person curled up in the sleeping bag is in general thermal equilibrium, neither too cold nor too hot (determined for a man in normal conditions of use).We recommend using an insulation mattress to optimise your thermal comfort.

An important clarification concerning the iso 23537-1 standard

In the context of this standard, the measurement protocol of a sleeping bag’s thermal protection uses a mattress with thermal resistance equal to an R-value of 4.8.This means that by using a less insulating mattress, the thermal performance of your sleeping bag will be lower. We therefore recommend you use an insulating mattress to optimise your thermal comfort.

Some advice to consider before you get into your bag

Dress simply (1 layer of clothing is enough). Warm-up your extremities: hats, gloves, socks, hand/feet warmers, rubdowns, etc. A flask of hot water can be used as a hot water bottle (as long as there's no chance of it accidentally opening!) Contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat) but do it without moving as this could create a draught. Use a bag liner to optimise warmth and avoid washing your sleeping bag too frequently.

Style

A generous mummy shape that is wide at the shoulders and narrow at the feet to optimise thermal insulation (no heat loss) and make the product more compact, while maintaining some freedom of movement.Width at the shoulders 72 cm, height at the feet 34 cm in size L. 64/30 in S, 68/32 in M, 76/36 in XL.

Weight and dimensions

Size S: 1450 g, user up to 1.59m tall. Bag dimensions: L 42 cm Ø 19.5 cm. Volume 12.5 L.Size M: 1550 g, user from 1.60m to 1.69m tall. Bag dim.: L 42 cm Ø 20.5 cm. Volume 13.9 L.Size L: 1670 g, user from 1.70m to 1.84m tall. Bag dim.: L 42 cm Ø 21.5 cm. Volume 15.2 litres. Size XL: 1790 g, user from 1.85m to 2m tall. Bag dim.: L 42 cm Ø 22.5 cm. Volume 16,7 L. Volume & dimensions may vary according to the compression applied to the product.

Functions

Ergonomic hood with drawcord.Double collar for protection from the cold.A baffle along the zips prevents heat loss.Double-slider zips for optimal ventilation. The top of the sleeping bag can be opened with the two side zips.

Want to know more about the wadding?

We use 2 layers of overlapping wadding: - One of 115 g/sqm, 100% polyester,- and one of 150 g/sqm, 100% polyester. The wadding is made from silicone-coated spiral fibres that make it highly compressible and highly durable.Despite its low thickness, it has high insulation properties thanks to the air trapped inside, and remains lightweight. It retains its warmth even when wet.

Compatibility

Can be twinned with all the Forclaz MT500 sleeping bag models. Can be twinned with the older models in the 2017 InchUltralight Inch and 2018 InchLight Inch ranges.

Product testing

All our sleeping bags undergo mechanical tests that test the performance and resistance of the sleeping bag to guarantee better sleep and recuperation (thermal resistance, resistance to abrasion, comfort, etc). We also carry out many tests in the field, in real conditions.

Storage instructions

You can easily store your bag by stuffing it loosely into its cover, feet section first. To keep it fluffed up & ensure good thermal performance, remove from its cover, extend, store it in a dry place.
