I love it, it is practical because it is not bulky, light, but effective for hiking.
My first impression was that the jacket was much better than I expected! The outer fabric was durable, the inner fabric seemed to be very warm, and the model was beautiful and fit really well! It has a fitted waist and really flatters the body. I usually wear a size S, but I bought a size M and it was a perfect fit.
I am very pleased, the jacket is fitted, looks great on the figure, flexible, windproof and also warms a little. The hood is brilliantly made - adjustable and the high fastening under the neck makes it very well protected against wind and rain.
Very comfortable, warm, waterproof, beautiful color. Highly recommended.

Good Softshell for trekking
This item was recommended to me by Adrien on the Decathlon website. I was looking for a jacket for my active walks (before and after). Very pretty jacket, nice and comfortable. It is water-repellent, windproof and moderately warm. I put it in my 10-liter bag during my activities. It takes up very little space when folded. It has two large zipped exterior pockets. Inside: 2 large pockets and a zipped pocket at the bottom of the jacket. Ventilation zip on the sides, large collar that protects the neck and the lower part of the face well and an adjustable hood. I took it in cherry purple (very pretty) however the choice of colors was limited which is a shame. In addition, the black was really sad. I took a size above my usual size to have more ease. Please: think about visibility during our sports and make colorful clothes!!!

What is softshell?
It is a warm, protective jacket that shields you from the wind and a brief downpour (about 30 minutes) of light rain or snow. The fabric is a combination of three materials: a breathable and windproof micro-porous membrane sandwiched between a water-repellent outer layer and a comfortable, warm fleece inner layer.
Thermal comfort and windproof
The wind makes you feel considerably colder. With an outside temperature of 32°F and 12 mph winds, it will feel like 14°F. InchWindproofInch components counteract the uncomfortable effects of this wind chill. They are highly effective at reducing heat loss by creating a barrier against the wind.
Breathability
The main fabric used throughout the jacket, except on the sides, features a windproof membrane with a breathability of 1,700 g/m² for 24 hours (according to the JIS 1099 A standard).
Water repellent property of component (not to be confused with waterproofing)
The water-repellent property of a fabric allows water to run off its surface without being absorbed. This keeps the fabric from soaking up water, maintaining its lightweight and breathable qualities. The fabric is treated on its outer surface to achieve this property, but it may deteriorate with use. To reactivate the water-repellent property, place the jacket in the tumble dryer on low heat for 10 minutes.
