Product Customer Reviews
I am using this mattress for the first time and, contrary to what is indicated, it is not self-inflating. I had to inflate it by blowing and, once inflated, it is barely 2 cm thick (much less than what is indicated). Either the description is inaccurate or the product is defective. I am very unhappy with my purchase.
Mattress as an additional base for a carp bed
used in the car before starting a long trail. used on a camp bed. I am satisfied with it
Satisfied with the product, but the downside is to deflate it, unless I didn't understand the system, but it's impossible to put it back in its original bag.
I use it to sleep in the back of my vehicle (holidays), I chose it because it is not too thick. Do not forget to open the valve when it remains in the sun or heat.
I bought it for my wife and I. We are satisfied.
As you get older, you will suffer from back pain if you sleep too soft or too hard. This air mattress is not expensive, lighter than a mattress, very moderate, and invincible in relieving my discomfort. I use it as a daily mattress to sleep on!
The mat is very comfortable. It gives the impression of warmth. Tried in a tent and in a hammock. I recommend it, easy to use and does not take up much space.
Used in conjunction with a camp bed. This product is difficult to pack back into it's bag
I've slept in it 20-30 times but deflated it 2 times and I'd say it wasn't easy to put it in its case especially the second time I put it halfway up. It doesn't deflate well or I haven't managed to deflate it well or it only happens in this particular one. The thickness is satisfactory and you sleep well. Luckily it's flat and doesn't have those annoying bumps that most have. I think they could sell it cheaper, but that's not an issue. I generally recommend it as long as you have strong hands for picking it up (wanting it to fit in its case).
Comfortable and decent mattress.
Impeccable product...deflation then rolling a bit tedious
We made this purchase for our 9 year old daughter's summer camp, her first. No problem with inflation and the nights spent on it were good. Folding it up was more complicated, even for me.
It is a complete price-performance product, comfortable, light and of high quality. It provides both comfort and insulation with its own sponge and material and air when inflated. It may be the most suitable for winter conditions because it does not seem to deflate.
Comfortable, does the job
Additional Product Information
Composition
Foam: 100.0% Polyurethane ; Floor mat: 50.0% Thermoplastic Polyurethane, 50.0% Polyester ; Main fabric: 50.0% Thermoplastic Polyurethane, 50.0% Polyester ; Carry bag: 100.0% Polyester
The principle of a self-inflating mattress
A self-inflating mattress consists of an airtight envelope glued to an open cell foam in which the air circulates. When you unfold the mattress, it will return to its original shape and thickness (4.5 cm for the AG Comfort) and fill with air accordingly. However, it requires some mouth inflation so you can adjust it to the pressure level suitable for you. Self-inflation is more or less noticeable depending on the thickness of the mattress.
Directions for use
We advise you to get out and unroll your mattress as soon as you set up camp. Leave the valve open to make pre-inflation easier. A self-inflating mattress inflates itself to about 80%. You will need to blow up the rest yourself, so you can adjust the pressure to your desired comfort level.Caution: choose your mattress width according to your tent's interior measurements.

Thermal properties and warmth: insulating mattress from the cold, winter use is an option
Since the beginning of 2020, a new standard has been validated to assess the level of insulation of your mattress: standard ASTM F3340-18. This standard measures the capacity of the mattress to retain or return body heat in order to avoid its loss and therefore provide you with thermal comfort.Thermal insulation thanks to the foam.R-Value standard ASTM F3340-18 self-inflating mattress GA COMFORT: 5.2 (measured by an independent laboratory)
Thermal properties and warmth (continued)
The R-value expresses the thermal performance and resistance of the mattress. The higher the R-Value, the more the mattress insulates you from the cold ground.- R-value from 0 to 1.9: mattress designed for use in warm season (summer) only- from 2 to 3: mattress design for use in 2 or 3 seasons (spring/summer/autumn)- from 3 to 4: 4 season mattress, winter use possible- higher than 4.5: winter use and extreme conditions
Product testing
Sleep comfort of mattresses is measured by our Research and Development centre. All our mattresses undergo mechanical tests that assess their performance and durability to guarantee good sleep and good recovery when camping. Caution: choose your mattress width according to your tent's interior measurements.
Storage instructions
We recommend you store your mattress away from moisture and extreme temperatures.
