Product Customer Reviews

Excellent product. The "Black" is very effective, for the "fresh" I don't know because in September it's not too hot anymore... once folded, its small volume is excellent for transport!
I thought I had made a great purchase and everything was fine until the next day. Indeed, this tent is aptly named Fresh and black. No heat inside and not woken up by sunlight alone. After having carefully looked at the folding tutorial I had the pleasant surprise of seeing all the whales on one side of the structure which had jumped. So back to after-sales service now I'm waiting for him to return but I don't hope to see this mishap again

Nice o top
Really good quality tent. He didn't disappoint even once.
Very easy to set up and pack up. Ventilation could be better though.
good product, but too little color variety...
Incredibly simple assembly/disassembly system. Child's play, no hassle. Top black system, even in broad daylight it's so dark that we need a lamp to find our things. Small lack of ventilation, we often needed to open the two doors a little to create a draft. But tent in full sun under 27°C and little experience and therefore elements of comparison. So it is difficult to judge the effectiveness of the fresh system. Not very spacious for a 2-seater. I do not recommend the 140 mattress which takes up almost all the floor space. We used a 120 to be able to slide our things at our feet and a little to the side. Three nice little pockets inside, to store phone, flashlight, tissues, glasses... A little heavy. Not usable for bivouac. It might even be difficult to transport it from the parking lot to the campsite for some. But the size of the bag makes it space-saving. Atypical and nice look BUT a bit flashy, which brings me to the last point... We used this tent at a festival: big mistake. It attracts all the little comics around who will find it extremely funny to be able to dismantle the tent from the outside just by pressing a button. The first time we slept soundly, with earplugs in our ears. It wasn't the collapse of the tent that woke us up, but my panicked cries when I woke up choking. In complete darkness and with my head in my ass I didn't understand what was happening to me. It was my companion who was able to find the exit to make me breathe, calm down, and go put the tent back together. It happened several times. But we were able to manage it better the following times since we were awake, impossible to go back to sleep. I no longer even dared to fit completely into my sleeping bag so that I could hold out my arms when the tent fell on us. Early departure from the party following this horrible night. In short, I really liked it but for that alone I'm going to part with it. It would be great to find a way to lock it from the inside. Or even have the same system but reversed, like an umbrella, with the buttons inside. Conclusion: I highly recommend it for people who struggle with classic hoop mounting systems, but if you are a little claustrophobic, make sure you only use it surrounded by people you trust.
Very narrow in 2
Great look with several storage spaces inside. Use with a space teenager 👍
I have been using the product for over a year and I don't need to say anything about the ease of assembly and assembly. If you are planning to stay alone, I don't think there will be a tent that will make you more comfortable, but for two people, it may be a little small depending on the physical characteristics of the people, but even in the worst case, they only need to sleep a little cramped. Since it has double doors and two small vents at the top of the tent, airflow is maximum. So far, I have not had any problems with the quick setup system, fresh&black or any other feature of the tent. The tent bag is a little heavy and big, but it's nothing to exaggerate. I travel without a car and it is quite bearable. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering it for 1-2 people.
Too easy to assemble, dismantle
As easy to install as to fold, I recommend.
The product has an extremely practical installation and assembly ability. A model that changes the understanding of tents and makes people love tents. The fabric consists of double layers and is really high quality. Be sure to use a tent mat on the ground to extend its life. The only problem that will arise is the fear of breaking or breaking the mechanism that makes you love this tent. Yes, it has spare parts, but there is a risk of leaving it lying around. Thank you to those who contributed.
Simple, fast setting up and folding of the tent
Additional Product Information
Composition
Main fabric: 100.0% Polyester ; Structure: 50.0% Polyoxymethylene, 50.0% Glass Fiber
Setting up and breaking down the tent
Enjoy the exclusive ”EASY” push-button technology to pitch your tent in two seconds. The freestanding structure means you can move the tent once assembled to find the perfect location. Instant foldaway: once the tent is no longer under tension, you just need to fold it away in its bag.. First-time questions? Check out the instructions and online video.
Mattress compatibility
We recommend a self-inflating or hiking mattress measuring 25.6” maximum. We do not recommend using inflating mattresses over 2.4” in height as this greatly reduces the available space inside the tent and increases internal condensation..
Ventilation
Flysheet with two side panels that can be opened out and attached to the side guy ropes (opens from the inside). Air can circulate in the bedroom. The entire rear flysheet can also be lifted from the inside by pulling on a drawstring. Two spaces between the flysheet and the ground on each side in the bedroom enable the air to renew itself and limit natural condensation. This is a fresh concept to reduce the heat from the sun.
Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200L/sqm/h for four hours), as well as in the field (2000mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 4.2oz/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.
Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all guy ropes fitted around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds up to 30mph near the ground (Force 6).
Product testing
Our design team conceives, plans and designs Quechua products in France, at the foot of Mont Blanc. We test them in the field with other campers, to check their comfort and durability. From Brittany to Corsica, we go to as many places as possible, in all weather conditions. These experiences are highly beneficial for us, allowing us to hear your feedback and start thinking about our future products!
Storage instructions
After use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odors and mold from forming.
