I've been cycling for over 30 years. Also in racing. I claim that I know a lot about bicycles. What Decathlon is currently offering is great. This gravel is incredible. The drive, the directional stability are simply brilliant. The gravel has an incredible urge to move forward and maintain speed. I had bikes in the 15,000 range. But I've never had such a great bike. I feel completely connected to the bike. You won't find quality and features anywhere. A gravel with similar features and a carbon frame from a brand manufacturer easily costs around 6000. The next one will be a Van Rysel racing bike. Keep it up Decathlon. Mega product.

A bike with a beautiful design, a great frame, complete with very good carbon rims and a Sram Force kit. I'm excited.

After just the first 5 kilometers, I felt the desire for another 100. The bike offers more than I expected. It's comfortable and well-made. The frame has a few paint imperfections and overall the paint job up close is poor. The frame has an uneven texture. It lacks a carbon seatpost and stem, but overall, the rest is a good quality-to-price ratio. It's very stiff. Suitable for racing and fast riding. 70% asphalt, 30% gravel and off-road. A fantastic fit for someone 189 cm tall with an XL size. Drawbacks: Lack of photos showing bike sizes. I chose this model instead of the Specialized CRUX. I highly recommend it!

The bike is really great. Rigid. Comfortable and the drive is great. The bike costs a bit, so my purchase was well thought out. I wasn't disappointed :)

I don't really bother to give reviews, but with this bike I just have to do it and let my enthusiasm be known. I wanted to buy a gravel bike for spring and went to all the well-known manufacturers such as Canyon, Rose and various bike shops. I also test rode great bikes there, but the equipment on all models was significantly worse at the same price as the Riverside. Since the Riverside GCR wasn't in stock in any Decathlon shops and I couldn't take it for a test ride, I was of course totally unsure whether I would spend €4,000 without riding the bike. Ultimately, I decided to go for it because of the great features and appearance, and I don't regret it. The bike looks even more elegant and stylish in real life than in the pictures. Setup was minimal and completed within a few minutes. The SRAM Force shifts absolutely smoothly straight away, the carbon wheels are great, as are the cockpit, saddle and Force brakes. I'm 1.79 and have an inseam of 84 cm and the bike fits me perfectly! I can absolutely recommend the Riverside GCR with Force equipment and simply say that you won't find anything better on the market for €4000

Purchase followed by return to store. The frame being very racing style, the feet largely touch the front wheel... really not great on winding trails! Other brands like BMC make bikes with which you can go long distances and not just straight tracks without having to turn sharply... like a road bike. Too bad because the bike provides real sensations of dynamism as soon as you put the watts into it!

My first GRAVEL, I don't regret this investment. Precise transmission, XL frame responsive and pleasant on restarts. All you have to do is swallow the kilometers of cycle paths and paths!!! I recommend. Jeff

This gravel is close to perfection for me. We swallow the kms on more or less challenging trails with a lot of confidence, comfort and above all a completely crazy pleasure!!! I love this bike!!!

The quality/price ratio is unbeatable. I also think that if the cables were integrated, it would be absolutely flawless. The handlebars are indeed a little wide, but it depends on each person's type of pedaling, it's not a fault for me. We'll see in the long term but after 1 month of use, no complaints.
