I'm interested in this bag - for 50/50 traveling and hiking. There is a character limit of 256, so I will split my questions up: 1. How is the carry comfort of this bag? More like hiking backpacks, or more like a regular backpack with a waist strap?

This backpack has the Easyfit system, which provides excellent fit with automatic adjustment. It also has foam back and straps to adjust your custom fit.

2. How are the compression straps? A lot hiking backpacks you can compress quite a lot - meaning the carrying comfort is good even if it isn't filled. Oftentimes I will probably only carry 45-50L or so.

The bag opens sideways and has a lock area on the zipper. There is also an opening area on the top, the lock area is also on the zipper there. The 6-liter area on top can be a backpack or can be attached to your front with clips while carrying the bag. I liked the raincoat the most, the double-layer raincoat can turn the bag into a handbag.
First of all, great backpack! My girlfriend and I just took the women's and men's models with us for a 4-week trip through Mexico and the backpacks are super practical. All the advantages have already been described here or can be seen in the product video. Get the packing cubes with you too - if you're packing and unpacking a lot, they'll bring even more order and save time and are very convenient. BUT, the cover that comes with it can't take anything. Take fiber tape with you (gaffer tape, duck tape). Both of our bags had holes in them within the first 4 days. They got bigger and bigger over the 4 weeks. However, the covers even made it on the return flight. The cover itself is also great because you don't have to check the backpack in as bulky goods on flights. And we were also glad to have the cover with us on bus trips and on the ferry. So take some tape with you - I'm going to fix our covers now. Clear purchase recommendation: backpack & packing cubes! Used when traveling, this bag is very practical thanks to its different compartments. The little extra is the top pocket which can be detached and made into an extra teenager's bag.
It offers a comfortable backpack experience even with heavy loads, its zippers are of extremely high quality.
I recommend this product for hiking and even more for a week of vacation

Reduced environmental impact thanks to the dyeing process
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this environmental impact, we use a mass pigmentation process that involves adding the colour pigments when the yarn itself is produced.
How to adjust your backpack?
Begin by adjusting the lumbar belt. The bag's weight should sit mainly on your hips. Then tighten the shoulder straps to bring the bag's weight towards your back. Attach and tighten the chest strap then tighten the smaller straps above the shoulders so that the back sits perfectly on your back.
Protect your bag in the rain
The backpack has a rain cover to protect the contents of your bag when it rains.This same cover will protect your bag in transit. By tightening the strap, you can completely pack your bag to protect it.

The main bag’s volume is 70 L. The removable pouch adds an extra 6 L volume.
In case of damage, repair your backpack
All the backpack buckles are available as spare parts (8797061). The removable pouch is also available (8766039).
8 steps to cleaning a backpack
- Completely empty the bag- Remove the foam and frame if your bag allows and you are certain you can put them back- Vacuum all over to get rid of the dust on the bag and zips- Put the bag in a bath, shower or bowl- Get hold of a stiff brush or a sponge for a smaller backpack- Wash the bag in soapy water and rub the stains
