I have been using this bike for over 6 months. I bought. Another pair of wheels so I can use it on the road or Gravel depending on my desire. It is perfect for me on both uses. So I am very satisfied with this bike.
This Riverside represented a not too expensive gateway into the world of Gravel. This is my first Decathlon bike with a little preconception before the purchase. This bike turns out to be the opposite of what I could have thought, dynamic, fast, it is very rigid and devilishly efficient, I love it. BUT.... The service offered by Decathlon is deplorable. When picking up the bike it took half an hour to prepare the bike which was supposed to be ready (so far no worries, we have all been underwater at one time). The mechanic missed the installation of the rim tape allowing tubeless use and no luck they no longer have any. I came back a week later to find out if they had received it and I felt like I was bothering them, they told me they would call me. I have been waiting 4 months. It's just a rim tape but when buying a bike I think the store can be a little more involved. So yes the bike is great but there are other brands also offering bikes at a good price whose after-sales service will certainly be better.
Very nice bike and top equipment. After 1 year of use I find the bike excellent, after changing the stem. Measuring 1.63m the size S is limited an xs would have been more suitable but unfortunately it does not exist. Small problem, maybe an assembly error because the cranks delivered on the bike are too big, According to the description in S it would be necessary 170 whereas I have 172.5. so be careful if you use automatic pedals.

The bike is absolutely great! However, the rear tire was leaking and the bike repair shop at Decathlon Esslingen couldn't put in a different rim tape... Really poor. Very bad service for a 4000 Euro bike.

This bike contains componentry rivalling bike costing twice. A previous reviewer did not even ride the bike before posting an unfair opinion. It wasn't even a review. There are $9000 Cervelo bikes which uses the same force etaps components.
Light, responsive...pleasure. Good on the road, excellent on trails.
When we received the bike, the bike did not hold the pressure in the tires, supposedly because there was no preventative. After putting it on it still wasn't any better. The valves were bent and the rim tape was really badly made. Too bad for a bike like that.
Very good performance even on the road. Excellent in recovery. Rigid carbon wheels, smooth rolling. Despite being 2kg heavier than my road bike...
Superb bike. The SRAM Force groupset and Reynolds wheels are a real plus. Unbeatable value for money.
Overall, the bike is great, but it would be perfect if the tire clearance was a bit larger (45c), and for this price it should have a carbon seatpost. Additionally, the factory-installed rim tape was hopelessly installed - it needed to be replaced immediately, and the bike came with a scratched derailleur.
Very good bike in general, top quality and price. Now as for the factory assembly, they should put some protector on the rear derailleur since it is scratched from rubbing with the cardboard and with the paint removed. Regarding the tubeing, the rim tape comes without glue and moves when it comes to tubeing it, I had to take it to a workshop and spend €15 per wheel on a new rim tape. I think there are aspects to improve to be a €3800 bike.
Buy online after measuring at Décath de Wavre, impeccable assembly, it is exactly my size and riding on its handlebars is a delight. Dynamic, the gears in one direction or the other shift on the fly, it's wonderful coming from a mechanical change. It is light but seems robust, braking at the top. THANKS
I've been cycling for over 30 years. Also in racing. I claim that I know a lot about bicycles. What Decathlon is currently offering is great. This gravel is incredible. The drive, the directional stability are simply brilliant. The gravel has an incredible urge to move forward and maintain speed. I had bikes in the 15,000 range. But I've never had such a great bike. I feel completely connected to the bike. You won't find quality and features anywhere. A gravel with similar features and a carbon frame from a brand manufacturer easily costs around 6000. The next one will be a Van Rysel racing bike. Keep it up Decathlon. Mega product.

Versatile hutchinson touareg tyres
We chose to equip our carbon gravel bike with Hutchinson Touareg 700 x 40 mm tyres for their versatility and flexibility. Originally installed tubeless, you'll need to add the sealant provided with the bike yourself. The even, grippy design of this tyre excels on dry ground, but is not recommended on very wet terrain. The sidewalls are reinforced to help the tyre withstand impacts and stones.127 TPI carcass
Tubeless assembly for greater reliability and puncture resistance
The wheels are set up as tubeless, but come WITHOUT SEALANT! You'll need to add the sealant directly into the valve, after deflating the tyre and removing the valve cap. Note that the bottle of sealant provided with the bike is enough for both tyres (60 ml of product per tyre). To finish, fully tighten the valve cap and reinflate the tyres to the desired pressure, between 1.8 and 3 bars maximum.

The maximum size for tyre width is 42 mm.
