This bag is ideal for traveling for 3 to 5 days, its compactness and multiple ways of carrying it are ideal.
I bought it for travel, it can be packed in for a week, if I don't stuff it full, it fits in the hand luggage size of the wooden ones. It is not comfortable for long walks due to the lack of a waist strap, so for hiking you have to use the regular hiking backpack, but for traveling it is a super small bag.

I bought this bag to use as a carry-on bag on a plane. Very practical, durable and fits the size required.
perfect for air travel
The ideal backpack for short trips. You can take it as hand luggage on the plane, without having to check it in. It holds a lot of things. The extension is a way to make better use of the space in your backpack.
Excellent all-round bag. Practical for weekends.
I've had this bag for a little over a year and a half. I use it mainly for traveling. My job requires a lot of moving around so I've flown with it a lot and from the looks of it, it looks like it can fit under the seat in front, which is not true; it doesn't fit under the seat at all, it's a 30-40l, but the agents at boarding and check-in don't notice anything. It's super compact. I've saved a lot of money thanks to this bag. I also have the Forclaz Travel 100 - which has now been replaced by the Travel 500 - and I've been asked to pay extra for it twice (minor if you compare that to all the times I've used it) The bag has a pocket on the outside and a very discreet one on the inside. It is comfortable, but when it is too heavy it hurts the back quite a bit despite the adjustable shoulder straps and the strap on the chest - it is not always enough. In terms of capacity it is great - I use it with packing cubes and it works very well. I can easily put a week's worth of clothes in it + a small pair of shoes, my toiletry bag and my laptop. It is super resistant - I don't always pay much attention to it, it sometimes drags a little too much on the ground and yet it is in impeccable condition. The black material on the back is really good quality. Overall the bag is perfect for short trips like weekends or vacation weeks where you don't need to carry the bag on your back for more than 2-3 hours at a time. For backpacking, I would rather take the Travel 500, although both are 40l, it is more comfortable and can be worn longer. Despite everything the duffel 500 remains my favorite travel bag.

Top for traveling by plane
It has been a good decision since it fulfills its purpose favorably, used as a backpack or as a travel bag.
We were able to fit 2 people's belongings inside very easily during our summer vacation. Being able to use it as a backpack makes the product very useful.
