Lightweight, waterproof

This cape does the job well! Not too bulky in the bag, it is easy to put on by encompassing the backpack. The fact that it has sleeves is a plus. The hood is not too invasive. At the end of the walk, no condensation inside. No discomfort when walking, even with poles and no plastic noise from rubbing. Considering my height of 1m78, it could have been a good 10 cm longer.
Practical and very comfortable to wear
Poncho long enough to cover the bag and its wearer well. Tested over a 2-hour hike in light rain, and once in a short downpour, I stayed dry.
I would love it if it would be even more longer or had something more to cover the shoes too. Velcro straps from the front to open up incase while riding.
I use it when I go to the gym in rainy weather. It also covers my backpack. The only downside is that half of the cover is mesh. I hope the mesh doesn't tear after a long time.
If it rains a lot, it ends up soaking through. I really like how easy it is to pick up. It's comfortable.
Alright
I used it with a 50 liter mt100 Easyfit bag, it covered it perfectly, it was easy to put on and take off. Unfortunately, you shouldn't expect miracles for that price, during more intense walks I got wetter under the jacket, as if I was soaked by the rain. Its hood doesn't slide down even when moving.

Fit and sizing information
Good coverage for hikers between 157 and 173 cm in height (size S/M) or 174 and 190 cm (size L/XL) and carrying a 60L maximum backpack. Hood can be tightened thanks to elasticated drawcord and stopper toggle. The ends of the sleeves are cuffed with an elastic binding that prevents water from entering your sleeves. This rain cape is easy to get on and off thanks to its long front zip which slips easily over the head.
Additional recommended products
To complete your outfit, we recommend overtrousers or waterproof gaiters to fully protect your lower legs. For greater breathability, the waterproof hat can also be attached to the poncho!
Component waterproofing
We measure a fabric's resistance to water pressure, expressed in terms of the height of a water column in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Components scoring 2000 mm can resist the pressure from 2000 mm of water (which is equivalent to a rain shower lasting two hours).
Waterproofing of the garment
This garment has been validated in a shower test under 60 litres of water / m² / hour for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the mountains.
Component breathability
Our rain poncho and cape ranges do not come with a waterproof/breathable membrane.Therefore, we recommend calm, gentle use to reduce perspiration rather than fast hiking!
Component water resistance
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment needs to be renewed throughout the lifetime of the garment (every 3 washes). All Quechua ponchos and capes have a water-repellent treatment.
Care
We recommend you use a re-waterproofing product (spray or liquid)To renew the fabric's water repellent-properties and optimise the garment's performance throughout its lifetime.
