Very good quality-price mattress

I have been using this mattress for over five years for my treks, it is perfect in terms of quality/price, it is durable and comfortable. It even followed me in the snow but the R-Value is more for three seasons. The only downside is that it can be a little noisy when you move around at night.

very compact but comfortable air mattress

what a nice airbed. Very compact to fold, but once inflated it is very comfortable, also well distributed

Not very resistant unfortunately

I bought this mattress 1 year ago and have used it 10 times max since then. Unfortunately it now has a leak that appeared after I left it inflated in my tent for a day... Overall the glue between two "buddings" has come loose and the air is now escaping. I went to the store and it was impossible to repair it, in fact they simply do not repair these products...

excellent mattress. Better than…

excellent mattress. Better than the previous version (red) which was difficult to deflate. Very satisfied with the quality of the previous version (red). After 10 days of use (about 15 days/year), the valve was starting to be defective (deflates during the night through the cap). It's OK, it had had its day. Very satisfied with the 15 days of use this year of the new version. I hope it will be as durable as the other one!

good inflatable mattress

It is small and rather light in the bag and good once inflated. The insulating power is not extraordinary but it is indicated, personally it is fine up to 5°c under tents.

very good compact mattress

very light and small to transport. ideal for hiking and bikepacking. also works well as insulation for sleeping in a hammock.

unfortunately too short...there was no longer one in stock...a real pity

Good value for money

Mattress used for one night on a mountain hike. Light to carry and does not take up too much space.

How to choose the size of your mt500 mattress

This model is available in L and XL version. The difference between the 2 sizes on the length (180 cm for the L; 195 Cm for the XL) and width (52 cm for size L; 60 cm for the XL).To choose the mattress that best suits you, you must consider your stature, but not just that. Your preference and/or your preference for space around your shoulders should also be considered. So, even if you are 1.75 cm, you will prefer the XL!

Tips for sleeping well on your mattress

Once you are lying down, remember to adjust the inflation pressure of the mattress by slightly pressing the IN valve (open cap). A mattress that is too hard is often synonymous with discomfort.Silicone patches on the top of the mattress are designed to reduce the sliding of your sleeping bag on the mattress.

How to easily fold the mt500 air mattress?

The easiest way to fold your mattress without damaging it is to fold it in four lengthwise, then roll it up.

How to repair a leak on your mt500 air mattress?

An inflatable mattress is not puncture-proof but it can be repaired! When using it, take every care when installing and handling it. In the event of a problem, we recommend using self-adhesive repair patches (ref: 8584596).For more information, copy the following link into your browser:https://www.forclaz.co.uk

What is the r-value?

The R-Value is a measure of the thermal insulation. It measures the ability of a mattress to retain or prevent heat from escaping from a warm body (human body) to a cold floor. The higher the R-Value, the better the insulation of the mattress. Please note that the R-Values can be added; this means that you can use two mattresses and add their R-Values.All our mattresses are tested to standard ASTM F3340-18.

What r-value for what use?

R-value from 0 to 1.9: Hot season (summer) onlyR-value from 2 to 3: Use over 3 seasons (spring/summer/autumn)R-Value from 3 to 6: Use over 4 seasonsR-Value > 6: Use in all 4 seasons and in extreme conditions (glacier, far north and high altitudes)

Volume and folded size

Folded dimensions Ø 3.9 Inch (10 cm) x 8.7 Inch (22 cm).Volume: 1.7 liters.Weights, volumes & dimensions may vary slightly due to production tolerances.
