Very pleasant to wear, efficient on all levels And superb color!
The FORCLAZ merino range is just perfect. Comfortable, warm, light.
It is recommended that you buy the cheapest one, which is sufficient and looks better. This one simply has more zippers and is a bit more expensive. Personally, I don’t think it’s worth it.
Wicks away perspiration while remaining warm. Limits odors unlike synthetic sweaters.

I have no additional comments
This product is less fine than the previous ones in merino wool (without lyocell) it will surely be more durable because it is more resistant, however it wicks away perspiration a little less well which was my primary criterion). The zipper started to get stuck on the second use (a shame for an item of this price) and has been getting stuck at regular intervals ever since. The size is good and the color nice.
Very pleasant garment to wear. keep warm for a very thin thickness. And it’s true, wool doesn’t retain odors! On the other hand, in comparison with the previous generation of the same product (I'm on the 4th...) the collar is lined with a material that can scratch...it's annoying. The collar of the previous ones were the same material as the rest, and it was much more comfortable! Too bad to have changed!
I have used this product for several years for hiking, trail running, cycling and everyday use. This t-shirt is almost perfect, the only thing missing for the men's model is a reinforcement braid on the upper part of the collar to limit abrasion from the beard during bivouac hikes.

A light and comfortable merino shirt that I use more as a second layer. Suitable for multi-day trekking in the mountains, even in summer, when the weather in the mountains often changes and can get cold quickly, but still not so much that you need a sweater or jacket during intense movement.

Reduction of the freezing effect
After exercise and sweating heavily, Merino wool prevents evaporation helping to maintain body temperature by absorbing the majority of the body's moisture. This therefore reduces any unpleasant chilling effect.Conversely, a synthetic material lets the body temperature go back down again faster.
Tip before use
For a softer feel, wash your t-shirt before first use.
How to wash your t-shirt made with merino wool?

Product testing
In November 2018, 8 trekkers (4 men and 4 women) and part of the Forclaz design team tested this T-shirt for four days in the Southern French Alps (Lus La Croix Haute). You can expect wind, rain, a bit of snow, a bivouac... and a lot of fun! We were then able to make the final modifications and validate it for mountain trekking use.
