was hoping it would be a little baggier thin, soft, provides some warmth
Due to COVID, face coverings were the order of the day at all the ski resorts I visited. Normally, I don't wear a buff (e.g. tube scarf) but I picked up a couple this year for everyone's safety. While this product is made of thin material, it is long enough to be doubled over and still perform its duties. I found it to be comfortable, breathable, odor-resistant. It washes easily and dries quickly. I actually purchased this item and the comparable smartwool product at the same time, but I found after a week or two on the slopes that I was defaulting to this as my preferred item. In hindsight, I wish I had bought 2 or three of these right away. This product is simple and no frills, but it does everything you want it to, looks good in the process and saves you money.
Excellent value and very similar quality to lightweight merino Buff branded products. I own several multipurpose neck tubes in Merino of various brands Usually comes down to the gsm (My favourites are in the 200gsm and above range) This one is 155gsm and i loved the colour so much i bought a second one when i was back in Decathalon. Wearing two also is thicker, than a dense midweight one and still cheaper (more colour options too)
I used it for cycling, lightweight but feels warm, good alternative to the cycling neck warmer
Heavier than a synthetic of the same design but because its merino it keeps cool when needed and warm when needed
Used it while hiking in Kosciuszko. Was perfect as a neck warmer for those chilly, days and to keep my hair out of my eyes and my ears warm when it got windy. Love it!
Nice fabric and great versatility for a hike. I used it as a headband, beanie and scarf in one weekend.
I like it
Great product, light weight, breathes well. Best to hand wash as its wool. Being wool it doesn’t get strong odours so can wear for a few day before needing a wash.

I felt like the neck warmer was a little bit too big as it didn't fit securely around my head (and I think I have an above-average head). I love the dark green color and the material feels quite comfortable. It does not stop wind very well unfortunately and didn't keep my neck/face warm enough for skiing.

I personally would like it available in a lighter Merino wool I find this too warm most of the time.
Used it in a 4 days Hiking camp and used it to protect from mosquitos, cold at night and a face mask! Comfortable feel, no itchy or sweaty feeling.
Superlight yet perfectly warm for winter activities. Also comfortable and discreet when walking around town. Being merino, I barely wash it twice or thrice in over a year, I merely dry it out after every use and so far it hasn't retained any odours. Perfecto
