Good experience

Little marvel of ingenuity

Haa what a tent! I've never had so much fun putting up a tent. Enough room for two people, with the two openings which are very appreciable both for not disturbing the other and for letting air and light pass through, finally the fresh and black has its effect very well (you have to like being in complete darkness once in the tent, remember to take your lamps) A great decathlon success for this invention. Why 4 stars and not 5 as it almost deserves? Because the ease of disassembly causes a little stress when a smart guy comes to close it on us at night :) If the assembly/folding buttons could be a little out of sight that would be really great. Then, it is a little heavy and a little large when folded for use on treks.

Go for it!

I bought this tent to make camping more enjoyable, and how can I say that I am resistant to it. However, I completely fell in love with it! It opens and closes easily, the bag is large so no worries storing it in, in the morning you will neither be woken up by the stifling heat, nor by the sun which illuminates the entire tent. She made my camping trips perfect!

Easy set up

As a disabled camper I have difficulty setting up a tent whilst on my own. This Quechua 2 seconds easy really was easy to erect and take down again.

First class

Very well made, quick to set up and take down, perfect for camping. Too heavy for proper trekking, but otherwise unbeatable. Rope in the middle for a lamp etc. 2 pockets perfect for small things and there is still plenty of room for your backpack at the foot end.

Quickly erected tent with little space for luggage

The setup is super easy and quick. The ventilation is OK. The pack size is more for a car or bike. The space for sleeping is great, but there is very limited space for two large backpacks.

This is the second tent in this series. There are no better tents

There are a few points that could be improved.

Always buy the tent together with the front tent, never suffer from condensation, some light comes into the tent thanks to the windows of the front tent. I have mounted a thickening on the two cords, so that the cords cannot fall into the two holes when folding the tent when opening the tent. When it rains, the water drains away better thanks to the awning, no wet feet thanks to the awning awning. .

Additional Product Information

Main fabric: 100.0% Polyester ; Structure: 50.0% Polyoxymethylene, 50.0% Glass Fiber

Setting up and breaking down the tent

Enjoy the exclusive ”EASY” push-button technology to pitch your tent in two seconds. The freestanding structure means you can move the tent once assembled to find the perfect location. Instant foldaway: once the tent is no longer under tension, you just need to fold it away in its bag.. First-time questions? Check out the instructions and online video.

Mattress compatibility

We recommend a self-inflating or hiking mattress measuring 25.6” maximum. We do not recommend using inflating mattresses over 2.4” in height as this greatly reduces the available space inside the tent and increases internal condensation..

Flysheet with two side panels that can be opened out and attached to the side guy ropes (opens from the inside). Air can circulate in the bedroom. The entire rear flysheet can also be lifted from the inside by pulling on a drawstring. Two spaces between the flysheet and the ground on each side in the bedroom enable the air to renew itself and limit natural condensation. This is a fresh concept to reduce the heat from the sun.

All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200L/sqm/h for four hours), as well as in the field (2000mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 4.2oz/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all guy ropes fitted around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds up to 30mph near the ground (Force 6).

Product testing

Our design team conceives, plans and designs Quechua products in France, at the foot of Mont Blanc. We test them in the field with other campers, to check their comfort and durability. From Brittany to Corsica, we go to as many places as possible, in all weather conditions. These experiences are highly beneficial for us, allowing us to hear your feedback and start thinking about our future products!

Storage instructions

After use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odors and mold from forming.
