The waterproofness of a jacket involves both its materials and the assembly techniques used. Whether heat-sealed or sewn and then waterproofed, overall waterproofness is tested with Decathlon’s shower test, which simulates varying intensities of rain. This jacket protects you from light rain, equivalent to 3 cm of rain in 30 minutes.
