Do extreme temperatures, like being stored in an attic, effect the texture of the bag or cause it to feel sticky?
Answer:
The prioduct should be stored in dry and moderate temperature. So far, we did not receive such feedbacks regarding any sticky aspect.

Excellent bag, with a good capacity, the large zipped opening makes it easy to access things. The portage is excellent. Just one small regret: the absence of one (or two) interior pockets placed against the sides to store small equipment.

Took it out on a 10-day camping trip, tossing it between benches, light backpack carrying, stuffed inside the car, the odd hotel (c'mon, everyone needs a shower in between on a 10-day camping trip), and it held up incredibly well. The shell material is incredibly wear resistant for the price level of this bag. My only (minor) complaints are the shoulder straps could use a bit more padding, and I had to combine it with packing cubes/sacks since there are limited storage compartments inside the bag itself. If one needs those things, there are specific backcountry bags that Decathlon sells that would serve a better purpose for constant wearing and needing knick-knack storage areas. This bag is best used for simply tossing around, yet providing the storage room needed. I highly recommend this bag, especially for its value!

Very good quality bag. Good value for money.
Used for more than a month in Sri Lanka, I recommend this product! First quality: weight! Knowing that some Asian airlines limit cabin baggage to 7kg, this was essential for me. Quite a bit of abuse during my trip, the bag held up well, solid material. Same zipper + possibility of attaching a padlock, it's a deterrent. This bag is a tote, so I used it with organizer bags, it was perfect! Having the ability to modulate the volume is a plus. The top and bottom handles are really practical when you move around a lot, as is the possibility of carrying this bag on your back (12kg maximum during my trip), the weight is distributed well, it remains pleasant to carry. Very happy with my purchase ! All that's missing is an exterior pocket/system for easy access to a water bottle (on a strap perhaps?)
I haven't used it for our 3 week African safari/gorilla trek, but it's a good size duffle that will easily accommodate 33 lbs. of our personal items (weight limit imposed by our bush flights) for our trip. I purchased a second duffle after my husband saw the one I ordered and he liked it too. Backpack straps work for both me (4 ft. 10) and my husband (6 ft.) tall. I like the detail of the multiple handles, so you can carry it in different positions too. Well made, waterproof duffle that comes with a storage bag, which can double as a laundry bag. Definitely love the expandable feature in case we want to buy souvenirs when a larger, heavier bag can be accommodated as checked luggage on our International flight home. Good value for your $$.
My biker brother, you don't need to pay too much and get lost in well-known brands. This bag is truly ideal. I filled it with almost everything. It saves lives when I go camping alone. Thanks

“extend” system
This duffle bag comes with our “Extend” system so you can vary the bag's volume. It's a system of straps that free up extra space when loosened. Conversely, it also compresses the bag to reduce it to its minimum volume (40 L for this one).
Hand luggage
This bag is accepted as cabin baggage by most airlines. However, we recommend you check the authorised dimensions with your chosen airline.
How is bag volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method: we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each pocket. We then we empty these balls into a graduated container which gives the equivalent volume in litres.
Technical tests
We complete laboratory tests to certify components: fabrics, buckles, straps, foam, zips... for example, for a fabric: resistance to abrasion and tearing, colour-fastness in UV light, resistance to washing, waterproofing, etc.A test is then conducted on the finished product replicating the accelerated demands on the bag over the years to check the strength of the assembly.
